My wife and I always try to stop in and visit with Sabree when we're in Savannah. We have several of her pieces in our home and always get compliments from our friends and family on them.

Sabree is helping to preserve the 400+ year-old Gullah culture through her work. The Gullah culture exists along North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida's coastal island regions.

Gullah traditions include vibrant and colorful art, sweet grass baskets, dolls, language, a unique style of food and more.

We walked into Sabree's Art Gallery and warmly greeted. She and John (an artist helping her that day) spoke to the three of us as we viewed her three-dimensional art pieces and art prints (limited numbers) and spoke about the Gullah people. Sabree is just as lovely as her art. We were offered cold bottled water as we shopped. We purchased two of her prints. I would love to visit her gallery next time I am in Savannah.
