The property's proximity to these attractions made my vacation both relaxing and adventurous. Old town Scottsdale was only a 5 min walk. There were many restaurants, bars and historic attractions of Old Town Scottsdale.

Pros: comfy bed, nice pool, appreciated access to pool early before check-in and good access to downtown Scottsdale, decent price compared to other Scottsdale properties, space was appropriate size for two people, decor updated, good tv Cons: property wasn’t cleaned even an hour after check-in, only one bath towel was provided, no trash bags and promises to be delivered later fell short, twice people knocked on the door asking for quarters for the laundry machine and once at 11:30 pm even (weird and unsettling); shower could be warmer, only two bowls and two plates provided, zero water glasses provided (only wine and two mugs), received an email at 5:00 am Tuesday saying water might be out from 9-12 Tuesday am, zero verbal communication with a live person despite requests for support (all via AI assistant or text from Akash), a few janky features like faucets, sagging curtains, and broken trash can lid, fitness center primitive and wanting Summary-Less than expected, too many cons and would stay at the Maya complex but not rent from Akash even though he did make an earnest attempt to arrange a delivery of bath towels and trash bags from Walmart late Monday night after having to hound him about it. Towels were still not laundered and had tags on them. Not ideal but great to have towels...

So far our experience has been pretty good. We’ve just arrived and are excited to see what this property is going to be like for our family trip. We do appreciate that the property rental has been responsive so far to our needs!

UPDATED: I hoped to be able to give this host a better review. The space did suit our needs for the time - but we will not be booking with this host again.

Our initial request to book the space was ignored, then when we tried to book again, the price was increased and they wouldn’t honor the original price offering.

We arrived a little early for check in, and they traded an early 5 star review for access before we even got in.

When we entered the space, the smell of pet urine was overwhelming, and things went downhill from there. The floors were filthy - the once light carpet was black and the kitchen floor was gritty with dirt. (our feet got black from walking barefoot in the space) Broken cabinets aluminum window frames that rattled in the wind all night Garbage in backyard and cupboards Stained linens and towels No laundry soap No towels put out Washing machine screeched We even found dried “goobers” on two of the beds - one in the bedding!
