Little Blue House Lake Tahoe — Local services in South Lake Tahoe

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. It was about a month ago I just couldn’t remember the name of the company. I’m a local and was stopping by to get pizza at base camp. I ducked in while waiting for it to be done and instantly started getting followed around by the manager. She said “what are you here for?” I said, just looking and took another step in and she stood in-front of me and said “don’t touch anything” then walked past me. Then, a moment later she says, “I need you to leave. You obviously didn’t read the sign before walking in.” I was so confused, it said wear a mask which I was already wearing. Then after a pause because I didn’t know how to respond, she says, “your mask isn’t cloth, you need to leave.” I was so confused because it was cloth. I got it online from an Etsy seller who does a black cloth with crystals all over it. I explained this to her and she said, “well how would I have known that?” I said, you’re being very rude I was just here to look around but you obviously don’t need my business. She is an older lady with light hair that is cut short. I will never go back and recommend locals...

Very disappointed! Was looking for some Christmas gifts, I spent over $300 here last year. Well I was looking around and a very RUDE woman told me my mask wasn't acceptable, thats news to me, I was following the government mandate, but because I had a sparkling mask, she told me to leave. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN! SHAMING PEOPLE IS NOT PART OF THE MANDATORY MASK PROCESS! I were this mask everywhere I go, no problem ANYWHERE! Your store needs a real customer service manager, this lady is a dictator and its not her job to tell people what type of mask to wear because she feels its not in compliance. Ruined the whole shopping experience in one of my favorite stores, I won't return. I don't appreciate the judgment and bossy behavior from this rude individual. BUYER BEWARE- they won’t tell you or have signage on return and exchange policy. After we bought, we changed our mind and wanted to return. Went back and told everything was final no questions asked.
