It's a nice venue, however, it was disorganized and extremely crowded. The wait on the line ate up approximately 45 minutes of our time, nor were there enough seats under the tents. It's summer, this should be anticipated.
There were vendors who gave different sized pours when it came to the wine - meaning a vendor from a booth would give Person A a good sized taste, while the same vendor would give Person B a tiny sip. There was no uniformity. Furthermore, getting samples from vendor to vendor was hectic. There were vendors who either didn't care to enforce the fact that there was a line. Or they were just not attentive to their patrons, as there were multiple instances where I'd be right in front of a vendor after patiently waiting, only to be ignored/overlooked because someone else is shoving through.
Plus, the event was supposed to last from 11am to 6pm on Saturday, but some people in our group had tickets which said their tickets were only valid until 5pm. Maybe I've been spoiled because of the wine tastings and festivals I've experienced in NYC and LI, which were orderly, efficient, and had adequate space for their patrons, but still, it's no excuse. It's a nice attempt at a wine fest, but I think there's a lot to be...
Read moreHad a great time last year and will be attending again this year. Lots of wine venders and bourbon samples. Picked up some great spices and marinades and will need to restock again this year. The food trucks outside offered a nice break from the tasting and had some delicious food. We sampled to our hearts content on Saturday and pick up our purchases on Sunday. Was nice that they had a holding station for all our items so we did not have to lug everything around the field. If anyone had a bad time, maybe it's not your cup of tea. Everyone was super friendly and even in the rain we had a wonderful...
Read more1st time here. Lots of vendors, winery stations and food trucks. Not enough parking, most have to park on the street and hope someone leaves. Maybe I don't know where else to park.
Was mistaken thinking there were lots of food tastings included, had to buy lunch for all 4 of us at the food trucks. Lots of wineries with about half ounce tastings. Felt okay since ticket prices include donation to charity.
Would not attend again as we thought it included enough food tastings for lunch. We found 2 stands that had sausage bites and one with a tiny piece of meat jerky. It is much more about...
