Recently attended a Naturalization Ceremony at this location and I have to say it was just beautiful. The honorable judge James Marner was presiding and I felt like he did a phenomenal job of orchestrating such an impactful event with humility and caring.
A few things I wish I'd known before going:
Those applying for citizenship are asked to arrive an hour earlier than friends and family are required to arrive (seating is somewhat limited though so consider going early) Flowers and gifts can be brought through security without issue (as long as the gift isn't a prohibited item which mostly encompasses weapons/explosives) Water bottles and coffee can be brought in as well Ceremony was very camera friendly and we were invited to both photograph and video tape to commemorate Representatives were available after the ceremony to help register voters and answer questions regarding passport...

I had a confusing time figuring out when I actually go in so I called the number to just get some help and I’ve never been made feel so stupid in my entire life. She talked to me with so much attitude I absolutely think she should be moved away from the phone or fired. No one who is going through this process should ever be made feel that they should not ask questions if they are confused. Literally just answer it nicely and move on with your day. All the people there were doing their job, and I had no problem finding my way thru the building. The ladies up there beside the judge were knowledgeable and efficient.
