I loved the shops and would have enjoyed spending more time there. The family had planned to spend a week exploring that area. We have been snowmobiling in West Yellowstone for the past 8 years. Each year we encounter rough trails inevitably... this year constantly, they were 2' moguls both in and out of town for 4 days. I understand snow conditions and high traffic affect trails, but we ride northern MN and UP of Michigan often. They run groomers 24/7 ensuring the trails and riders are in good condition. Very helpful staff. They gave us a lot of great information before heading into the park. It was our first time so we wanted to understand as much as we could before heading in.
