Lived in this town for 25 years never once have I seen management like this. While I was eating my breakfast I had a half of a tooth break off. When I asked to speak to the manager about this she rolled her eyes and basically told me I was full of it. Like I was lying about it while holding half of my tooth. I never demanded or asked for anything to be taken off my bill for my food or my friends food. I never got upset or raised my voice at all. They voluntarily comped my ticket themselves. My friend suggested that I get the company's contact information for my dental insurance claim just incase the dentist was able able to determine that it was a healthy tooth with no prior issues and I most likely bit into something hard. They could contact the restaurant for their insurance information. When I asked the manager for contact information she laughed rolled her eyes again and made a snide comment to me as she walked past a table of customers. Basically telling me I was full of it again around other customers. But did give me a card. Dentist told me that it looked like a perfectly healthy tooth. No signs of older damage or cavities. Nothing that he could see would cause it to just fall apart for no reason. But going off my experience with management there i new they would just fight any claim and be a huge pain. So I put it on my insurance and paid the deductible. Never wrote a bad review or anything until today when one of the kitchen staff came into my store and realized that the "piece of $&%@ scam artist tourist" the manager was talking about that day was actually me and not a tourist. Zero professionalism. Im sure by reading the responses to other customers complaints in these reviews ill be labeled as a liar or a bot or a con artist but trust me ZERO PROFESSIONALISM... ZERO HOSPITALITY. The fact that you had to use Google to find a typo in my review and then post it as the only rebuttal to my entire revie speaks volumes about your mindset. Not to mention your reply "Sus" My son says that a lot as well. He is 8 years old. Do yourself a favor and sell that restaurant to someone that actually knows about the industry and has some people skills. Or at the least let someone that is not a Narcissist reply to...
Read morefirst of all, this place is incredibly overpriced. Granted, its a tourist town so that wasn't a surprise; but, if you're going to charge $12 for a breakfast burrito and hashbrowns maybe not put one bite of sausage in the burrito and the rest over cooked egg. The waitress and hostess must have been having a horrible day because their demeanor was just angry and sad. The whole time we felt like we were just an inconvenience. We were given no condiments, creamers, jelly/jam, butter, or anything you'd expect on a table for breakfast. We had to actually get up and fish for things we needed at other tables which is just ridiculous. We couldn't even get the attention of an employee because they just never came back. The only time our server returned to the table was to give us our check, which we did not ask for, as one of the people in our party hadn't even finished half of his meal and the rest of us were still eating. Needless to say, there are better places for breakfast in West Yellowstone that don't treat a paying customer like this. It's the only time i ever tipped under %15 since we essentially had to provide for ourselves throughout the meal and then were rushed out before we'd even finished.
edit: Today we ate breakfast at the Three Bear Lounge and it was a night and day difference. I got the same burrito essentially and it was three dollars cheaper than the Timberline option and was SO much better. it has eggs, cheese, onions, bacon, and sausage. The Hash browns were delicious and there was more of them. All of the employees were so friendly and accommodating as well. the ambiance of the lounge is like getting Breakfast at Grandma's house. It is super welcoming and comfortable and you just want to spend time there. Don't even hesitate. The Three Bear Lounge is literally a one minute walk from the Timberline and its incredibly...
Read moreThis my first review of a restaurant, so that should immediately tell you how bad this restaurant was that it pushed me to finally leave one.
I ordered the Slider Trio. It was three separate types of meat, one per slider, that I was interested to try for the first time. In short, I walked away disappointed. It felt like chewing on the plastic burgers in a Little Tikes kitchen play set. These were by far the worst sliders I’ve ever eaten
The service wasn’t much better. We ordered our drinks first as you usually would but we didn’t receive them until we asked for them when our meals came out. This SHOULD NOT be the case.
The atmosphere felt very strange. If this had been the atmosphere of the rest of West Yellowstone, I would have packed my bags and been on the first flight back thinking I had dodged a bullet.
I have read enough of the other reviews of the restaurant to know that the owner reads these reviews, so I’ll leave some advice for them to improve. If you want your restaurant to be more successful in the future, you should essentially do the exact opposite of everything you have done until now. This should not be difficult seeing as your waitstaff seem to have experience doing the exact opposite of what is expected of them as...
