We came here with my parents, me, and my brother. I understand the pandemic is a touchy subject. I find it sad that it's a touchy subject but it is and nothing I can do can change it. My family member likes to wear a mask. No one has to condemn or condone it. Because it's his personal decision and that's fine. He has the freedom of choice to be able to do that. The owner here kicked him out because he was wearing a mask. So my family member waited outside by the entrance since we were inside. The owner stood by the entrance like a sentry to make sure he didn't come back in like he was some trouble maker. If you value your freedom of choice in your medical decisions I recommend against this "museum". I couldn't believe the hostility we faced when we came to look around and not bother anyone. While I may not agree with everyone I can still extend respect and common courtesy to everyone. It's upsetting to see him not...
Read moreOne star for ambiance and a neat collection of vintage memorabilia...I couldn’t resist adding my review to the mix....the sign on the front of the museum read, “Sorry we’re closed.” The garage was opened so I peeked in and saw no one...then out came your friendly museum curator...I asked if he was open and rudely responded I should have known it was open, the garage door was open after all! Then he snapped. “You know what. I don’t have time to deal with this! Get out, go on, get out!” Then he chase me to my car telling me I didn’t deserve to be in his shop because I wasn’t intelligent enough.” 😂😂😂 His antics were good entertainment on our road trip, even if it had to be at my expense. We would have loved to hear the stories of his collection and take home some souvenirs! We’d been planning to visit THIS particular little museum for awhile. I hope Pete has a change of heart...life is too short to be...
Read moreWow. I have read stories about people being incredibly rude about masks before but this was my first time encountering it. The disconnect about personal freedom was astounding. Don't wear your mask... fine, nothing I can do about that. But I have the choice to wear of not wear one if I want to. It's the hypocrisy of it that continues to astonish me. As for this owner in particular. He came out looking for a fight. We were content to walk away peacefully but he kept going on and on about how we were the idiots who believed in something that "wasn't true." He pushed and pushed continuing his combative attitude in front of our young children while we were walking away. It was a great learning opportunity for our kids about common courtesy. So I guess, thanks for that rude dude. Since I can't choose 0 starts the one star...
