Monte Verde — Hotel in Quindío

Great hotel in the Salento area, this is a typical area hotel, very clean and well maintained. It's close to the main park and action, it's about 5 minutes walking distance. The breakfast is included most of the times, and I can tell you that is the best breakfast that I ever eat at a hotel (it is great) The people who work at Hotel Monte verde are very friendly and the hotel always have a security man at night. ||||If you go to Salento go the bar "Open" as a night scape and don't forget to eat fish at "Laurita Restaurant" everybody in Salento is very friendly and they love tourists.||||I do recumbent this hotel 100% I...

Difficult to call Hotel Monte Verde and 'hotel' - it is more on the level of a hostel. Unfortunately, this was the only property available during our area visit during Samana Santa.||||We ended up having to pay 240.000 pesos for room #6 on the second floor. This price, of course, was excessive, since the normal rate for the room would be more like 90.000 pesos. Breakfast was not included, as is normally the case.||||We decided to eat dinner at their restaurant. The food was adequate and the service was acceptable.||||Would we consider staying here again? I stayed for two nights and I felt great. People are kind with tourists and the room was excellent, the bed is confortable as the other services inside the room and very clean and also with low prices. I hope to come soon I'm pretty sure I will stay...
