We were able to get in on the second night we tried. Apparently, they’re the busiest restaurant in town, but surprisingly, they have very limited seating.
In my opinion, it’s not just a fusion of Asian cuisines; some dishes are reimagined to be more exclusive. For example, the famous Japanese Chicken Katsu, which is usually served with rice, is served as a ramen here. While it was tasty, the crispy chicken fillet and curry broth with noodles didn’t quite work for me. Additionally, the ceviche is served with crispy potatoes, and another ramen comes with a mix of crispy prawns, dumplings, and more. Normally, ramen is all about the broth, but this place misses that key feature.
The service was good—attentive and polite—but we did have to pour our own wine a couple of times.
Let’s not forget the prices. They’re practically charging London-level prices here. There's nothing wrong with that, as long as the food justifies the cost.
Overall, it was a good experience, but it’s not one that will have me...
Read moreCame here for a late lunch during a fairly quiet part of the day. We each ordered a ramen and got a side of kimchi and an infusion. The service left a lot to be desired. The waiter was extremely brisk and lacked warmth. At the end, he cleared one side of the table while one of us was still eating, taking away everything not being actively used, including the serviettes and tea saucer, despite the one of us holding the infusion to drink it, and other still eating and therefore requiring their serviette.
However, the food was very good, although perhaps not quite to the level that other reviews suggested it would be. The beef udon ramen wasn't quite salty enough and was quite simple, being comprised of just udon noodles, minced beef, and 3 cheese croquettes. The flat bowl it was served in made getting broth into the spoon challenging. At 60,000 COP, it didn't meet expectations. The Macao ramen had more going on with a very good broth. The kimchi was very fermented...
Read moreThis was an incredible experience from start to finish. My wife and I came with a desire to try different plates, and we left so grateful. Paola, our server was very helpful and very attentive. We had the chicken curry to start and it was top notch. A solid amount of meat in a delicious coconut curry. We had the pork rib plate that was perfectly sweet, barbecueish, and tender. The gyudon sirloin rice plate was delicious with a great serving of meat and the rice seasoned perfectly. Our last plate was the Macao ramen and WOW. What a banger. So many different meats and flavors, and they all went so well together. We finished off with the bread pudding and it couldn't have been any better. Big, tasty, and pleasant. To top it off, Diane Ceron happened to be in the restaurant tonight and, when my wife and I went over to thank her for the meal, she was very kind and happy to share a moment with us. We could not be anymore grateful....
