Convenient and clean hotel in Prague! Its location is fairly excellent, near the astronomical clock and Charles Bridge, and many restaurants and stores. Surprisingly, when you walk to the street of this hotel, the noises of people suddenly disappeared, making the quality of stay here very comfortable. The room was clean but organized in a special way, too spacious for the bath room. Overall, highly recommend this place when you visit Prague. The prices were also very reasonable!

Aquecimento TOP quer no quarto quer no wc.

Incredible view from our room. So close to everything. We loved it. Only thing to watch out for is that roads are only having cobblestones so dragging luggage gets difficult. Also there's no lift and you'll have to carry your own luggage up the stairs. Either way we really enjoyed our stay.

I am not usually one to write reviews, but felt it necessary on this occasion. My friend and I arrived at The Hotel King George after an early red-eye flight to Prague, and upon introducing ourselves at the ‘reception’ (a musty back office next to the hotel), the gentleman in there didn’t even make an effort to turn and look at us, let alone stand up and greet us. We had booked two rooms, but he misread the details on his system and rudely insisted we only had one room, telling me that this was my fault and I had made a booking error. Had I not continuously pushed back against this, I’m sure he would have simply made us share a room, despite us having paid for two. He was instantly confrontational and seemed to lack any semblance of customer service ability. When he realised his mistake, his attitude did not change, nor did he apologise. Later that day, we met another staff member, female, whom we greeted politely. She, too, was cold and inhospitable, and as we approached an internal door, she was inexplicably rude and aggressive to us because one of their sensor-operated doors didn’t open on our first try. ‘No!,’ she shouted. ‘Can you not read?’, as she pointed to a sign by the electronic door. We were gobsmacked at the obnoxious and downright hostile treatment we had received, and they were unfortunately no friendlier when it came time to check out.

I am awarding two stars rather than just one, as the hotel room & bathroom was (albeit extremely basic and without air conditioning) admittedly clean, and the hotel’s central location is very convenient for Prague sightseeing. So, if you are happy to stay in a hotel with basic amenities, in a great location, and are looking to be verbally abused by the staff, then I cannot recommend the Hotel King George highly enough. However, if you would like to be treated with basic human respect and decency, I would strongly advise you...

Veniamo cacciati in malo modo.

Not utterly impressed with the "Hotel", in the beginning I was like... Am I on the right place?... But after a couple of hours I realized I made a great decision by staying here. Place is super centric right by the bridge, the castle, the old Town Square, the clock, hard Rock, the main busy street with all the souvenir shops and boat tours. I do WARN YOU THERE IS NO PARKING AT THE HOTEL, but you can look for a parking garage called Mr. Parkit this place has many establishments around town where you can just leave your car and forget about it since all you will be doing is walking. I paid 47 euros for 4 days . I would stay here again if I ever come back to beautiful Prague. There is a bar at the "Hotel" so if you can sleep with some people talking and joking you will be fine. I was just so tired from walking that the noise...
