Says online they close at 11pm, so rushed 30mins across town to get there (via an ATM as also read it was cash only). Lethargically greeted to be told it's takeaway only from 10:30pm - 10:45pm.

But this was still 10:25pm. đŸ€·

As other vegan options at this time are now limited we viewed the menu and then ordered 2 burgers to takeaway.

Whilst waiting, the server commented "you should have gotten here earlier, it would be better.' I'm not one for arguing, but I don't appreciate it being made to feel like it's my fault you clearly just want to close early.

I then asked if we could have salt and mayonnaise on the fries. This cost me an extra 20 crowns (68p for a bit of mayo).

Then I look down my receipt and see I've been charged another 31 crowns for our takeaway boxes and bag - he didn't mention it would cost us more than the standard price to take our food away.đŸ€Š

We found a place to sit and eat in the street and to our disbelief, the burger and fries were tepid!

You'd forget any grievances if the food blew your mind. They did have time to draw silly pictures on the boxes we bought though.

Baffling this was our experience considering all the positive reviews, but it feels like these guys have given up or would just rather not have customers.

Our experience from start to finish was a massive let down.

*Indifferent/nonchalant staff

*Takeaway tax (when by his own rules we were there in time and could have eaten in)

After everything - COLD FOOD.

PANTS - PULLED ...

The food at The Street Burgers was excellent. We had the bacon cheeseburger, ranch burger, a burger with onion rings, and the beef nachos, which were especially good. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The waitress was generally pleasant and service was reasonably efficient.

However, there were a couple of odd things that made the experience less enjoyable.

First, one of the burgers came with mayonnaise, which wasn’t listed on the menu. A member of our group doesn’t eat mayo, so we asked if it could be remade. The waitress did bring a replacement, but made a passive-aggressive comment when she returned it. She said something like, “We always put mayonnaise on the burger because it carries the flavor,” as if to imply our colleague had made a poor choice by asking for it without.

Second, the restaurant is cash only, which is unusual for Prague. We had taken out 2,000 CZK (about $100) and our total came to 1,970 CZK. When I went to pay, the waitress noted that the total didn’t include a 10 percent service tip. We would have gladly tipped, but expecting it in cash, especially when credit cards are accepted almost everywhere in the city, felt unreasonable. It also felt like the comment about the tip may have been directed at us specifically because we were American.

Overall, the food is great and worth trying, but be prepared for the cash-only policy and some awkward service moments. Three stars overall. Great food, but not the most...

Me and my friends were craving burgers around 7pm today and looked for a place nearby based on the ratings and menu. This place caught our attention and I’ll tell you that none of us regretted it!! Firstly, I want to note the good service, we were greeted by a smiling waitress and also two friendly guys:) A big plus is that the cute waitress immediately warned that you can only pay in cash, because not everyone can know or notice it. We were also pleased with the menu, a good selection, everyone will find something to suit their taste. We took a classic cheeseburger, a Mexican burger and a chicken Piri Piri burger. We also took honey beer and blueberry lemonade. The burgers arrived quite quickly, the portion looked filling and the burgers were very very tasty! We barely ate them😅 I also want to note that the burger price includes fries. One more plus is that when we wanted to take extra fries, the waiter warned us that everyone would already have them in their dish. We didn’t know it so we were happy that he warned us about it before. Separately, I would like to note that they also provided us with chewing gum, which was a nice bonus!:) The prices are quite good for such a high-quality, tasty burgers and for the city center. We are very pleased that we chose this place. We will definitely recommend it to our friends and come again!...
