Our family of six--two parents and four children ranging from 23-10--stayed at the Jilska Residence Apartments (listed as Old Town Residence Apartments on our confirmation booking, but apparently that's a different property). Our unit was very spacious. The living area included a couch and love seat (I believe they were both sleepers, but we did not pull them out), had an adequately equipped kitchen, and a dining table that seated six. The bathroom was clean and modern, the shower was consistent in temperature and pressure. The bathroom did get very hot and steamy after multiple people showered, though, because it lacked adequate ventilation.||||The upper loft area had a room with two single beds that my husband and I used, and a separate bedroom with four single beds. The views from the bedroom windows were nice, particularly at night. We were in Prague during unusually hot weather. The apartment was not air conditioned, and there was only one stand fan provided. The living room had a ceiling fan, so my husband ended up sleeping on the couch to be a little cooler. I wish we had a fan for both sleeping areas. We considered buying one because it was stifling hot during our visit. The skylights in the sleeping areas did not have shades, so don't plan on sleeping late.||||When we arrived at the train station, we had to go to a hotel to get the keys and sign paperwork. We took a taxi to that hotel, and then to our apartment, which was a wise move because they were not close to each other and the building was difficult to find. However, the apartment itself is fairly conveniently located to tourist areas and the metro, which we used once we got a feel of the area. There was a nice grocery store near the apartment as well and a bank with an ATM about a block away.||||This place wasn't fancy, and the wooden floors appeared clean, but our socks turned black walking around the apartment. The bedding was all clean and comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchen were clean, and the building felt safe, so we weren't too bothered by the floors. It was great to have some room to spread out, play cards at night, etc. after traveling together and being in some tighter quarters on other parts of our trip. Wifi was free, but a bit spotty and inconsistent. For the price we paid, the apartment was overall a fair value. I didn't pay five star rent, so I didn't expect five star accommodations.||||The email communication was excellent (fast responses), and when I needed help getting a taxi that not only took credit cards, but also could haul six people and all of our luggage, the gentlemen with the apartment booking office and the hotel where we picked up the keys were both...
