Nice atmosphere, but Disrespectful Service and Poor Quality Food-I really wouldn’t recommend it.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant today. I walked in and was kindly greeted by a chef who was a man of color. He told me to go ahead and take a seat outside and I did so everything was going great. White balding server in his 30s came over and took my order dismissively and forgetfully. I ordered a high-end dessert platter, and when I picked up a piece of white chocolate, I found a hair on it. Upon closer inspection, I noticed more hairs and lint on other parts of the dessert. I immediately flagged this to the staff, but their response was dismissive, with one employee even denying seeing the issue.

When I insisted on not wanting the dessert after the issue was not addressed to my satisfaction, the staff acted as if I was being unreasonable. They offered to bring me a replacement, but the way they handled the situation made me uncomfortable. It felt more like they were trying to get me to accept the same food with a quick fix, rather than addressing the core issue of the cleanliness and quality of the meal.

The real issue wasn’t just the food, but the disrespectful attitude when I said I didn’t want the replacement. They didn’t listen to my clear boundaries and instead tried to pressure me into accepting something I didn’t ask for. As I was walking out, I was followed by staff trying to give me the same plate of food I had already rejected. At that point, I had made it clear that I wasn’t going to eat here and wanted my check, but they still didn’t respect that.

This restaurant clearly doesn’t value customer feedback or quality service. I will not be returning, and I would advise others to reconsider...

Same as the previous reviewers, the service at this restaurant is appalling, especially if it's a hotel restaurant, where you would expect top notch hospitality. We got here close to 10 pm, but it doesn’t close until 11:30 pm. The restaurant was completely empty and now I can see why. The gentleman in charge of the floor was chatting with the kitchen staff within plain view from the entrance. They saw us but clearly no one wanted to come greet us. We stood there and waited so he grudgingly walked over with a disgusted look on his face. We asked if they're still open and he said yes, but didn't invite us in. He made it very very clear that we weren't welcome. But it was our first night in Prague after a long flight and our options were dwindling, so we endured the treatment just to get some decent food.

The restaurant looks nice, food is ok, but the service is absolutely horrible and disgusting. Having traveled many countries, this is the most appalling customer service I have ever encountered in my life. The owner replied to the previous negative reviews, but clearly didn't do anything about it and condoned his staff's behavior. Even the kitchen staff who we could see from the entrance were looking at us with utter contempt. We weren't in fancy dress given the freezing winter night and having just arrived from the airport, but we weren't poorly dressed at all. The worst restaurant I have been in Prague , when I arrived there , no one there to arrange the table , the man behind the bar was just looking at me and say nothing , so I choose the table myself , I asked the women for baby high chair , and the answer was ( no no we don’t have ) , after few mins the Asian waiter brought us the high chair from himself, so the female waiter was lying. Now the funny moment , our waiter arrived to order ( European man tall ) and asked to add extra avocado for my meal and my wife meal and of course we will pay for that and his answer was ( the chief is busy and we don’t have time to add you avocado ) honestly I was shocked , but when meals arrived there was extra avocado for my meal but not my wife . Last thing we were waiting for very long time for the bill to arrive and the same European waiter arrived with the bill . It’s minus experience not even zero , rude waiter and the other one is a lier . I need to mention that there were two Asians waiter and they were very nice , kind with excellent service . The other rude waiters I thing they were from Ukraine . The owner should fire all the waiter and just keep the Asians waiter . Please learn the customer service from other countries , and that Eastern European ugly rude altitude doesn’t...
