This accommodation is in a really accessible location, really close to the old town. Although the rooms are well appointed, clean and warm, I’d describe the hotel as tourist class at best. Reception area is very small with the breakfast room off to the right. It’s basic, but does the job. There is no lift, so please be prepared to carry your luggage up. Luckily, we noticed and requested a room on the 1st floor. There are still 29 steep steps to that point. There’s nowhere to sit and relax and there is no bar. Our room was front facing but the hotel is situated next to a busy pub. It was noisy, but what do you expect? Prague is a very busy city with 100’s of bars full of people enjoying themselves. The cleaner was hit and miss. She’d change the towels, but nothing else. Also, she would arrive around 4pm when we were having a rest after walking around since just after breakfast, which wasn’t really convenient. We didn’t find this a huge problem as we tidied as we went. There is a mini bar with everything priced at 100 Koruna. Tea and coffee sachets are also provided at 20 Koruna each. No milk is provided. Take your own and buy milk from a local shop. Breakfast is a bit boring, no variety. Every day; lukewarm warm frankfurter sausages, bread, rolls, croissants and doughnuts, 3 kinds of processed meats, dairy lea type cheese, small pots of pate, apples, oranges, tomatoes, 2 types of cereal and a coffee machine. Fresh orange juice is provided. Unsure how many rooms there are but there are 7 tables. Beds are nice and big but the mattresses are thin and hard. We were on a city break so it was fine for us. We would have liked a bit more comfort, but it’s an adequate hotel. Our room, 20, had a...

The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location. Recently stayed there and what was advertised was definitely NOT the reality of the condition of the hotel. To start, no elevator. This is not stated on the website or anywhere. We ended up having to carry our bags up 3 flights of stairs to our room. So if you have any mobility issues, definitely avoid this hotel. Next, the room advertised was definitely NOT the reality of what we got. Live electrical wire hanging out of the walk, the mattresses were quite thin and uncomfortable, the furniture was dated and dirty and the bathroom...The tub was half sized with no shower curtain, so every time you took a shower you had to basically hug the wall. The hose for the showerhead was so short you had to bend down to wash and there was no shower curtain so water went everywhere. Then there was the mold issue...all along the top of the walls and light fixtures, this was probably due to the fact the vent fan did not work. Lastly, even though they say the building underwent a total refurbishment, this is not true. The windows and walls were nowhere near soundproof and we were kept up half the night by the bar next door it was so loud. The continental breakfast was steamed hotdogs and stale bread with room temperature cold cuts, we both got sick and had to find breakfast elsewhere. I voiced my concerns to the staff and they really did not care. This hotel is operated more like a hostel than a 3 star hotel....or in reality a 1 star hotel. I am currently asking for a...

Although the hotel has a certain historic character and beautiful spacious room, management and staff aren't quite well, I had stained coffee mugs in my room, which even upon request wasn't replaced or cleaned, simple things like instant coffee or tea were chargeable at 20czk. I understand minibar items being chargeable, but not mere instant tea coffes.. curtains were torn at hooks. Breakfast wasn't value for money, there was no scrambled eggs, boiled eggs , only salami and hams, and smoked cheese slices weren't good, hard and chewy, only good thing ironically was the vending machine coffee. Won't recommend opting for breakfast. Location is very good, just around the corner of Old town square, Astronomical clock, Hard rock cafe, and lots of nice pubs and restaurants are there, I'll recommend a very tatsy Burrito place called Loco Burrito 🌯.... If you crave some nice and spicy food like me . There is also a very nice and beautiful Absintheire next to hotel, do try the house Absinthe, nice and strong!!! Also, this hotel is not disabled friendly, no lifts were there. I'll give 2 stars for coffee, beautiful old antique style room, proximity to old town centre. Change in management is needed

Overall we had a convenient stay at this hotel in the center of Prague. The suite was nice and the beds were comfy. We especially liked that they cleaned the rooms everyday. Most of the stuff is pretty friendly but there are some exceptions. The view from the suite directly under the ceiling is amazing ! The downside of this hotel is its breakfast, which is quite poor (wouldn’t recommend) and the small bathrooms as well as the lack of parking space for cars (the description online says that there is parking space). A bit extraordinary is the fact that you have to return the key to the receptionist every time you leave the house which doesn’t feel like a hotel at all. Ps: Restaurants on the other side of the town over the Charlesbridge are much cheaper than they are in the center.

Stayed here while I was in Prague this month. The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the old town square. The building is very old but well maintained, it still has some of its old touches like the high ceilings which were hand carved and painted. The staff here were very polite and helpful and more than comfortable to speak almost any language (I was very impressed) The breakfast was a continental breakfast with a Czech twist. The fresh Czech baked goods were really good. I will definitely come back to this hotel when I'm in Prague next
