Old Town Spirit — Hotel in Prague

Be very careful, DON'T STAY HERE! We stayed at Old Town Spirit twice: once last year and once less than a week ago.

The first time we stayed here, it was very good and the security system was through conventional electronic cards but, this time, they had changed the system: they send you a link during the online check-in on the phone, you open it, and press one of the buttons to open the main door or the one to your room. So yes, the "key" and "security" it's a link...lousy security system, especially considering that the last night we stayed there (15 of June) when we got back to our room at Old Town Spirit, someone had broken in (without forcing the door) and STOLEN ALL our BELONGINGS. Not only our documentation, lugage cases and clothes but also my laptop (which was my work tool). Disgusting.

As if that wasn't enough, after filing a report with the police and spending more than 5 hours with them at dawn, we tried to contact Old Town Spirit since they have a lot of responsibility for what happened and we have not received a response... Not even for check-out... This not only makes them suspicious, but it also disrespectful.

Do not stay here if you do not want all your belongings stolen while...

Average stay, quite comfortable location, but very dirty interiors (except the bathroom). So much dirty that we found chips on the bed, disco bracelets on the floor, pieces of wall and insects scattered here and there. Absence of external soundproofing, absence of wardrobes (only one chest of drawers). Furthermore numerous problems at the entrance: having received the link from the owner to enter the house, we found two other people who had the pre-booking in the same room as us. Over the course of your stay, we encountered numerous other people outside the facility who were having trouble getting in. Staff absent and for the little they do, not very courteous. When asked for further cleaning given the pitiful condition of the room, we were asked to send photos as proof. Then they sent a lady to clean who showed up 2 minutes later, mopped the floor for a counted 30 seconds and left (leaving the chips on the bed and more bits of wall and bugs around). Low price, but for the same amount you can...

Wir hatten leider den Eindruck, dass unser Apartment nicht richtig gereinigt wurde. Es waren noch die Haare der Vorgänger auf dem Boden und auch die Fußmatte ist nicht gewechselt worden. Wir haben zu zweit 1 Handtuch bekommen. Ich glaube auch, dass die Betten nicht frisch bezogen wurden. Es waren auch hier Haare zu finden. Das Licht im Flur hat nicht funktioniert. Das W-Lan Passwort war in der Wohnung nicht zu finden, auf Nachfrage wurden wir rüde daraufhin gewiesen, dass es an jeder Tür hängt, was nicht der Fall ist! Die Dusche ist auch falsch eingestellt, kalt/ warm ist vertauscht, was an sich nicht schlimm es, wenn man es weiß. Wir haben alle Punkte am ersten Abend gemeldet. Sie haben uns mitten in der Nacht hintereinander mehrere sehr unhöfliche und unpassende Nachrichten geschickt. Wir haben uns ziemlich unwohl gefühlt und waren froh nur 2 Nächte dort zu verbringen. Das Personal hatte uns vorgeworfen zu lügen und da wir unser Gepäck vor der check-in Zeit dort lassen durften, hätten wir auch kein Recht uns zu beschweren, wir sollten gefälligst die Wahrheit sagen. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns kommentarlos ein zweites Handtuch gebracht. Alle anderen Punkte/ Fragen wurden ignoriert. Vor dem check-out wurde uns gesagt, dass wir das Geld für Getränke aus der Minibar in der Wohnung lassen sollen, weil die Rezeption zu dieser Zeit (7 Uhr morgens) nicht besetzt ist. Das Geld wurde mir nun trotzdem vom Deposit abgezogen! Ich bin wirklich sehr enttäuscht über diese Art und Weise und den Umgang mit Gästen und kann es auf keinen Fall...
