Opitz House — Hotel in Prague

Great location!!!! BUT… second time there and really not impressed; this time booked the family suite and it’s a massive half empty room but totally unpractical and feels uncomfortable/class room like. No comfortable sofa or sitting, slippery rug, bunk beds made up in the middle of the huge room, chairs… that’s it! No coziness at all! TV has no internet and stuck to the middle of the room. Double bed has a crater in the middle, shower curtain came down twice and hot water took 20 minutes to be warm enough for a shower. Early check in was made with the booking but forgotten about and breakfast ‘cafe’ feels like stepping into a freezer - that’s how friendly and welcoming the canteen staff are there… 2nd chance always given but won’t do it...

Excellent location to stay in Prague . We loved the place . Nice clean and big rooms . Breakfast is right below in the cafe . It’s a 1 minute walk to the old town square with cafes and resturants and a wonderful atmosphere all around . The only downside in the bathrooms , (which was kinda surprising ) was that there is a tub and a shower in the tub but no curtains . So when you shower , the bathrooms gets wet which can be a hazard for slipping and also kind of messy . Hopefully the management will fix that issue . Other than that , we had a wonderful...

Ottimo Bed & Breakfast a due passi dalla Piazza della Città Vecchia di Praga con le sue bellezze e la celebre Torre Astronomica, situato nel vecchio campus universitario dell'Università Carolina. Camere dotate di tutto il necessario. La nota leggermente critica riguarda l'assenza di personale alla Reception, cosa che rende un po' difficoltoso il check in e soprattutto il check out automatico, affidato ad un apparato elettronico, ove inserire numero della prenotazione, nome, eccetera e - se si ha fortuna - rilascia o ritira la Card magnetica in automatico. Consigliato dunque ad una clientela giovane e tecnologicamente addestrata, un po' più complicato per chi non abbia un'alta alfabetizzazione nelle nuove tecnologie. Personalmente, pur avendo effettuato molti check in automatici, ho trovato questo particolarmente macchinoso, anche per la mancanza di comunicazioni sul fatto che non ci sarebbe stato personale all'accoglienza e per la conseguente necessità di girare con lo zaino dall'arrivo al mattino fino al check in (non prima delle 14) in assenza di informazioni o di personale a cui chiedere. Un po' complesso anche il rapporto con la Kavarna che offre, all'interno del cortile, la colazione dalle 7,30 alle 9,30: il personale parla solo ceco.
