A place to avoid. From the moment we walked in the door, the man who served us was rude. We asked him if we could sit at another table, as the one he was offering us was next to the door and as it was night and winter, we were caught in the cold. Instead of telling us with any kind answer that they were full, he just made an ugly gesture pointing out that it was that or nothing. The worst came when after dinner and asking for the bill, for not leaving a tip (which is not obligatory) he said "thanks for nothing". When even he had not served us during dinner and the few occasions of interaction with him had been shameful. This man had better not work in customer service, either as a waiter or owner, because what an image of the business... Nothing to complain about the lady who really served us, but just because of the way we were treated by the other "gentleman" it was better not to go there. If you doubt, don't even think about it, there are better places in Prague. Just to add that seeing all the previous comments, and so many negative ones, I imagine that the person we all mention is the same person and that he is still in his job, it can only be assumed that he is the owner or part of the management. Shame on you for treating your clients like this. It is indeed a tourist trap place, I just hope that he treats his staff better and that in time he will lower his star rating and when his place becomes unpopular he will think again about how he runs his business.
Here is your answer: I am not going to delete it, since it is clear that it is true, since unfortunately it is difficult to forget that I had dinner at your restaurant at the end of December. Do you ask all of your customers who make the same complaints about tipping and bad gestures from the manager to delete their comments? Since from what I see, I'm not the only one. You have to have little shame... The review stays where it...

Honestly, the whole experience felt like a joke. We were served by this super skinny guy with a beard who looked like he hadn’t slept in three days. Fine, people have bad days. But when he tried to speak English, I thought he was joking – it sounded like a weird mix of Czech and mumbling. Zero effort to communicate properly.
The food? Dry chicken that tasted like cardboard. Not even worth going into details.
Now here’s the best part – we didn’t leave a tip (surprise, right?), and suddenly he turned into a different person. No goodbye, no thank you, just dropped the receipt on the table like we were trash. Two seconds later he’s smiling and chatting with the next table like he’s working at a 5-star place. What a performance.
And then he pulls the classic tourist scam. Normally in CZ I can choose currency when paying by card – always pick CZK to avoid the insane exchange fee. But this guy? Didn’t ask, didn’t show anything, just clicked something and walked off. Boom – charged me in my own currency with 7% extra for no reason. When I called him out, he said I chose it. Really? I paid contactless and he left before I even touched the terminal.
This kind of behavior is not just rude, it’s shady. Not acceptable in any restaurant. Never coming back and don’t recommend unless you like getting ripped off with...
Read moreThe food was decent; however, the behavior of the waiter at the end of our visit was completely unacceptable. Along with the bill, we were given a card asking us to select a percentage tip to leave. Given that the food was simply “okay” and the wait time was excessively long, we decided not to leave a tip. We also left feedback noting that it is inappropriate to pressure customers into leaving a tip. On the card, selecting 0% was accompanied by a sad face, which was clearly meant to play on the customer’s emotions.
When the waiter collected the payment and saw that we left no tip, his demeanor immediately shifted—he became cold and distant, in stark contrast to his earlier positive and welcoming attitude. To make matters worse, he confronted us in front of other customers in a raised tone, questioning how we could leave such feedback and insisting that tips are a standard expectation. While tipping might be customary when the service and experience meet expectations, in this case, they did not (the food was average, the wait time excessively long, and the prices were already on the higher side).
This behavior is entirely unprofessional and unacceptable. To conclude the experience, we were dismissed with a dismissive wave of the hand, which was both disrespectful and embarrassing. A true...
