They request payment as soon as you check in and suspect it’s because people leave/refuse to pay the £200+ per night. Room and location are ok. Street is very quiet for a city. In the first floor suites though there is a constant thumping of base music which gets louder as the night goes on, that can not be heard outside of the building. From our stay and previous reviews, the staff and management blame it on the cafe and city events but remarkably when you speak to reception or chat to staff member at 2.30 am about it, the noise seems to stop for a while. They are aware of the source of this problem and fail to deal with it or adequately soundproof the room. Until they do I would strongly avoid staying here unless you want to trudge the streets all day to avoid the droning music and come home...

Stayed here the weekend of the Copenhagen marathon. Really enjoyed my stay. Prime location in relation to the city. The suite is great and we were really impressed by it. Very nice bar downstairs too. Fantastic service from the reception staff, in particular Brayan was top notch. The room servicing was good, however tea and coffee weren’t re-stocked daily which left us with no coffee on the last morning, the bed also didn’t get made daily. Not the end of the world but these details is what didn’t make it a 5 star rating for me. Fantastic hotel with attention to the smallest details.||The rooms are very spacious, even by international standards, and well-equipped with coffee makers, kitchenware, and more. The beautiful Danish design instantly makes you feel welcome in the room.||Everything was spotless, and I had a great night’s sleep.||The B&O Bluetooth speaker in the room was a lovely touch, though I found it a bit difficult to connect to at first.
