I USED to think this was one of the best bubble tea places in CPH - until they cheated me through Wolt. I ordered 2x Brown sugar pearl tea lattes, which both came without tapioca. Before contacting Wolt, I made sure to double check that I had ordered correctly, which I had; the topping options only listed "nothing, jelly, and popping boba", which I didn't want - so I assumed the drinks would come with brown sugar pearls, as it's part of the name.
As that wasn't the case - I contacted Wolt support, who reached out to the restaurant. After waiting 4H on an answer (!), they come back and say that it's my own fault for not choosing it in the "topping" menu.... Which they had conveniently updated in the meantime to now include "brown sugar pearls". Honestly this is a joke, and I can't believe that as a consumer, you need to take screenshots of the menu to avoid being cheated... This could easily have been handled by a new drink or small discount, but instead they choose to cheat... Really embarrassing on their part, and a pity on my part - as I otherwise really enjoyed...
Read moreEdit: I am changing the stars as I was informed the price changes are solely through wolt which makes me want to boycott Wolt. I will be visiting in store instead.
We have always loved ordering bubble tea through Wolt here. The drinks are delicious and there have only been a couple mistakes over the last year we have ordered here, which were absolutely forgivable and minor. But unfortunately due to the recent price changes we will not be ordering anymore. I was about to order today, but I immediately noticed something was wrong with the prices. There’s no way it has always been 92dkk for my favorite drink. I went back to our order history to check the old prices and saw that our favorite drinks went from 70kr to 92kr and another from 58kr to 92kr! These are insane price increases and sadly we can no longer justify paying such prices for a milk tea drink. This is incredibly sad but I still wish the best for the...
Read moreSober Boba used to be my absolute favorite boba place. For the past 3 years, back to when it was called Boba Drop, I would come to Sober Boba almost every week. For the past couple of months however, I have noticed a great decrease in the quality of the boba. I always get the brown sugar milk tea with tapioca, and I started to notice small things, such as how they stoped drizzling brown sugar around the edges of the cup. However, the greatest change was the milk. I don’t know if they used to use real milk then switched to milk powder, or if they were just better at mixing the drink before, but every time i’ve gotten boba for the past couple of weeks, there has been visible milk power in the drink, and when drinking it, I can taste the small clumps of powder. It’s really sad that their drinks aren’t as enjoyable anymore, I really...
