Coffee First — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Just leaving the hostel and I went because its kind of cute from outside,it invites you to get in. The owner is clever because tables and chairs are yellow and pillows red (I am spanish!!!) so I am attracted of course

Jack is supernice,I told him he has a special "rollo",personality,way of being,way of talking,way of moving,talking...rollo is your own style showing your personality,very few people are able to show it .

And Asia is adorable..she brought me the coffee without sugar...I ordered sugar,she went inside,and brought me three sugars!!!in case I wanted more than one...really?

So I love the nice energy of both than altogether create a very comfortable atmosphere and welcoming,they make you feel like at home.

For me,the atmosphere is created by the peoole working,not decoration.Of course,if decoration is comfortable much better.

I would go just to talk to them,even I didnt ordered anything.

If you’re in Copenhagen seeking specialty coffee, I would not recommend going here.

Giving a second star because the staff was kind, and the WiFi works, but otherwise, a complete disappointment.

There were little bugs flying around the whole time, a sign that it wasn’t clean.

The baristas had limited knowledge of not only coffee, but specifically what they were serving. We ordered a V60 and didn’t like it, though you could chalk this up to personal taste. It was a very dark roast and not at all what I would consider specialty.

Lastly, though we didn’t order food, at one point the server told another customer they were out of pancakes but that the owner went to buy more.

When the owner returned, he set a bag of frozen pancakes on the counter to be stored. In other words, they’re not fresh nor homemade. The rest of the food on display didn’t look very...

I think that when you decide to run this kind of business you are required to have:

Social skills 2 minimum of knowledge about food, allergies etc.

Unfortunately the staff has none of them.

I ordered a toast with fees ingredients, and I made sure to tell them that I cannot eat anything else. But they didn't manage to do it. They brought me a toast with extra ingredients I cannot eat. So adding to the frustration of my condition the frustration to see my meal returned.

Clearly no apologies were given, no alternatives. The waitress actually tried to convince me that I could eat whatever else was put on the bread, maybe she was trying to make me sick? (she wasn't even aware on my condition).

Very rude actitude, they seemed upset that I wasn't eating the food. Bad experience and very restricted mindset.
