Slow service and an odd menu nothing but raw dishes, and they expect you to figure everything out without properly informing you. unorganized, and lacks any character. Do yourself a favor and dine elsewhere. 🔴🔴🔴This is a response to the owner’s reply to my initial review, which unfortunately confirms the unprofessionalism i encountered at their cafe. Instead of taking accountability your response does more to deflect blame than address the actual issues. Let me clarify the points you seem to have misunderstood or ignored:

1- By “raw food,” I was referring to the fact that you served me a plain egg on a plate with nothing else no bread, no cheese, no explanation that everything had to be ordered separately. It felt like an incomplete meal, and no effort was made to clarify this at the time of ordering.

2- The service was incredibly disorganized. You served the strange egg plate first, then took 30 minutes to serve the coffee, and even forgot my friend’s order entirely until we had to remind your staff.

3- When I asked for bread, I was told I needed to go back to the counter, stand in line, and order bread separately, which would take additional time. This is basic hospitality, why wasn’t this explained earlier or handled more efficiently?

Rather than acknowledging these clear shortcomings, your response came across as dismissive and defensive, accusing me of spreading “imaginary things.” Instead of addressing the issues professionally, you tried to deflect blame onto me while boasting about irrelevant details like staff speaking eight languages. This type of attitude reflects poorly on your establishment.

I stand by my review: your service was chaotic, the menu unclear, and the experience frustrating. I suggest you take this feedback constructively rather than doubling down on deflection.

P.S. Next time someone orders a plain egg, perhaps you could serve it with a saucer of milk to complete the “cat meal” experience....

Excellent food and atmosphere. Ingredients were fresh and properly combined, flavors were simple but sharp and natural. My wife, my son and me were having breakfast when my kid slipped from a chair and spilled his milk breaking a glass. Almost at the same time, one of the employees appeared in front of us and offered his help right away. He was friendly, kind and comforting, he cleaned everything and helped us to return to our table. He offered our kid some pancakes to bring some fresh air into the situation. He was a father of two kids, and handle the situation like a champ. We were not charged for the broken glass, we tried to paid for the pancakes but he kindly said "it is on us, keep looking after your family and enjoy the rest of you day", I insisted and he smiled kindly, shook my hand and said "there is no need". I recommend this place because of the food (I am a food lover and grew up in a restaurant, so I have high standards when eating out), but I highly recommend because of the human interaction we had with this employee, that turned out to be one of the owners. We will...

It was alright - extremely small portions for both coffee and food. We’re talking 115 kr for a single egg, a single sausage, two thin slices of bread, and a bit of avocado. Plus 50 kr for about 300ml of iced coffee. The taste was fine, but we won’t be coming back due to the insanely high prices compared to the portion sizes. The picture speaks for itself. Wolf & Constali or Mad & Kaffe serve brunch that’s at least twice the size for the same price, and their coffee is actually good. Total tourist trap.

EDIT: Changing this from a mediocre 3-star review to a 1-star review after witnessing the owner’s true colors in their arrogant response. You claim most can barely get through it all 😂😭 You serve the smallest portions in the city, “champ”. If anyone actually struggles to finish your kid-sized “brunch,” it’s probably because they knew they had to pre-eat before coming just to avoid leaving hungry. We had to go get lunch right after. Also forgot to mention the burnt aftertaste of the coffee. McDonald’s serve better coffee. Not recommended at all. A total tourist...

I had breakfast at Social Brew in Copenhagen, expecting top-quality coffee given the name and the café’s clear focus on single-origin coffee. Unfortunately, the coffee was a major letdown. I ordered a hand brew and an espresso. The espresso was decent, nothing exceptional—but the hand brew was genuinely awful. It had the smell and taste of cheap, old industrial coffee. I’ve had better batch brews in basic hotel breakfasts in Denmark and Sweden. On a positive note, the food was good—I enjoyed the avocado toast and the porridge. But in a city like Copenhagen, where specialty coffee is taken seriously, serving such poor filter coffee is simply disappointing. I wouldn’t return for the coffee.

One of the best brunch ever! The food is delicious, presentation was perfect, quantities were decent. Money wise it is expensive. The only thing I can comment on and thats why the 3 stars is the service, the employee at the cash was not in his best mood. We ordered a pancake and the brunch, he charged us for an additional pancake and we knew when the order was delivered at our table. When they said you can get a refund, we had to literally wait again in line like we are going to get another table because he would not let us take a place. Also the cleanliness of the place is not the best. Tables were dirty and even when they come to clean them, they do it without actually “cleaning”
