Fantastic place! Located on the West Bank (closer to balloon ride, Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Hatshepsut Temple, Medinet Habu Temple, Ramesseum). However it is easy and cheap to get to Karnak Temple, Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple that are located on East Bank. You just need to walk 8 min to public ferry (currently it costs 7EGP per person), cross Nile by public ferry and you will get off the ferry in the front of Luxor museum. If you turn left after 15min walk you will be in front of Karnak Temple, if you will turn right after 15min walk you will be in front of Luxor Temple. You can also take private motorboat (3 min walk from house, the landlord will call for you the boat) and cross Nile to destination you wish. Apartments are big, with aircondition, you have all you need for cooking, nice living room, with balcony and private terrace. On the top beautiful rooftop terrace with 360° view (on mountains with Hatshepsut Temple, into Luxor Temple on other side). And swimming pool which is a perfect relax after day spent on sightseeing. Place is clean and tidy, quiet (without the Egyptian hustle and bustle, screams and horns so typical for the city center). Sometimes you hear donkey or frog croaking 😀. Very friendly and helpful...
