Hi folks, if you wanna experience real egyptian life: Moses pyramids inn is the place to go.
The godfather and his family are taking lots of care of you! Ask them for anything. The Terrace on 6th floor got an amazing sight. This place ain't for disabled people, there is no lifter.
The breakfast is awesome (if you go for chai, fool, falafel and eg. bread).
The rooms are clean and well cooled. Be aware of the hot water in bathroom!
In front of the mosque near hotel you will get it all:
best falafel-sandwiches at egyptian prices. You will see crowded place, then you r right at it. Them got green falafel, liver, fool, tahina, humus , lots of stuff and the very best arabian bread, i ever tasted!
The koshary-place on the opposite i didnt like, they try to scam and the koshari is not that tasty.
Avoid the barber , its ugly and scammy there.
There are also two alcohol-stores in the near. Just ask for directions.
Check Uber-App for Taxi-Prices, then negotiate. (Lotta guys r gonna ask u for a lift). You will get everywhere for real little money. Use Egyptian Pounds. Let them live, tip'em.
Be aware, Giza is stuffed, very dirty, smelly, crazy, like a lot egyptian places. But unique!
The guys will hustle, but never get intrusive. A loud "Lalala" (no!) clears the...
Read moreDO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Avoid This Hotel in Cairo – A Terrible Experience I had a very bad experience at this hotel in Cairo, and I want to warn others to avoid it at all costs. The hotel was dirty, both in the room and surrounding areas. The cleanliness was far below any standard you’d expect. Our troubles started on arrival — we reached around 1 AM, and after a long journey, we were offered something to eat.Adter one hour, they served us kofta, vegetables, and rice along with a couple of beers, that they just got somewhere in the street and when the bill came, we were shocked to see that we’d been charged 34€ for a very basic meal. That felt like a clear scam, especially considering the food wasn’t anything special. This place was a huge disappointment, and I’d recommend paying a little more for a hotel with decent service and better cleanliness. Don’t fall for the offers — it’s just not worth it! Dont talk to the dutch speaking egyptian guy!He will just try...
Read moreOne of the best stays I’ve ever had! They kindly let me check in as early as 4am, which I really appreciated after a long trip. The owners, brothers Mosses and Ahmed, truly treated me like family, even accompanying me around because they were genuinely concerned about scams near the pyramids. On my last night, they surprised me with traditional Egyptian food cooked by their mom, and it was absolutely amazing.
The location is perfect, just a short walk to the Giza Pyramids, and breakfast with the pyramids view was unforgettable. Huge thanks to Mosses, Ahmed, and their mom for making my stay so warm and memorable. Highly...
