The most ridiculous experience ever! We ordered some food, two sangrias and a bottle of water. When serving the drinks, the waiter unintentionally spilled the entire glass of sangria all over my sweater and my pants. Of course he apologized but as I got cold because I was soaked and it was 13 degrees outside where we were sitting, we asked him to just give us the food for takeaway.
Here comes the greatest part: although the waiter spilled one of the sangrias all over me and we didn't get the chance to drink neither the other sangria, nor the bottle of water, when he came with the bill, all the drinks were in there, including the spilled one. I told him that I'm not paying for the drinks and only for the food. Then he said that if I don't pay for them, he'd have to pay for them himself. I replied that I'm not paying for a sangria that someone spilled on me, neither I will pay for the other drinks that I didn't drink because I was super cold because I was wet and I wanted to go home as soon as possible. Then, he offered TO SPLIT THE DRINKS 50/50, so I just raged at this and finally payed for the food only.
I know that this could happen to anyone and he didn't spill the drink on me intentionally but I was amused by how disrespectful he was trying to cheat by making my pay the entire bill, including the spilled drink; then offering me to split the drinks.
He should at least have had the dignity to be thankful that I didn't ask to talk to his manager because he'd probably not only pay the bill but lose his job also.
And, last but not least, if this was a good restaurant at all, they wouldn't have asked me to pay anything at all.
Finally, we ate our food at home and it was okay but there were lots of missing ingredients that were stated in the menu - like guacamole and...
Read moreDon't go in there - biggest scam! Last night I went to Cancún and wanted to have a blast time with some friends. The waiter was not able to write down all ordered drinks, though we were only 4 PAX. We ordered the drinks without ice, but got ice. Right then and there, we should have left. He was only focused to argue with a female waiter, rather than a good service to the customers. ALL our plates had COLD potatoe wedges or fries. My baked potatoe was below room temperature, but was a little bit warm. The mozzarella sticks were NOT AT ALL melted inside. We informed him about the cold food and he dared to claim that these mozzarella sticks are exactly how they were supposed to be. After a short discussion he took the sticks and fries with him to heat them up. He returned with well temperatured fries and wedges but NO sticks and promised that we would get a discount. Right then he asked us, if we would like to have the bill and left. After 20 mins. we asked another waiter for the invoice. Lucky us, looser waiter came back and tried to scam us. There was no discount on the invoice as promised. His boss only offered free drinks, he said. When we spoke with the manager, he repeated his offer for the free drinks, but who wants to remain in a lousy restaurant with barely any service??? Folks, locals and tourists, you better stay away from Cancún Alexanderplatz. There are better restaurants right next to it, who do know the...
Read moreWould have given zero stars if possible, worst dining experience of my life.
Firstly we spent the better part of fifteen minutes merely waiting for the menus.
Eventually we were served ordered a tower of beers and our mains, we were given the incorrect beer and I received a very unclean glass, although with it being a lads holiday I picked the debris out the glass, poured my beer and persevered on.
Then came the food which was handed to us after an alarmingly short ten minute max wait. The waitress who brought it could not decipher the difference between enchiladas and tacos. I ordered chicken and beef enchiladas, only received beef. A friend ordered fajitas, which were cold on arrival, lacking in additions, and had 3 tortillas which was far from enough. Another ordered tacos which were somehow soggy and dissolving on one side but crispy on the other.
The waiter never once asked how our meal was during our meal, when I said to him I was not pleased with the meal at the end he then began to argue with me about what I ordered. He then did not apologise for any of the issues detailed.
Eventually we received the bill, put down the full price of the meal (60 euros for a meal we didn't like) he then had the audacity to stand over us tell us "tip was not included" and stood until a tip was given.
All in all would not send my worst enemy to this...
