Burgermeister Alexanderplatz — Restaurant in Berlin

2 persons: 2 burgers and 1 fries for under 20 €.

Ketchup, mayo, chili ketchup you take yourself when eating at the place.

Order on screen or at the desk. Used the screen. Easy to use. Was in doubt about the dressings for the fries. The staff was quite busy but was helpful and professional.

Got an order number. Went briefly to the toilet (mens room) which was in order. When I came back my food was ready shortly after.

The fries was not very salty. To my taste too little salt. They were ok. But lacked the eatworthiness I seek in something as unnecessary and unhealthy as fries. They have to be an enjoyable sin. They were not.

The burger was quite something else. I could taste all the ingredients. The vegetables seemed absolutely fresh. The sauce did not seem synthetic. The patty seemed fried enough on the outside to give me a pleasant taste of beef.

I had the Meisterburger. The other burger was the cheeseburger. I tasted that too. The cheese did not taste of too much. Could be more tasty. The Meisterburger has no cheese - so the lack of cheese taste was completely ok for that one.

I was quite surprised in a positive way to have a really nice, fresh, tasty burger from a burgerchain. Felt good afterwards (which is not common for me after visits to burgerplaces because the burgers are often extremely greasy). The burger was not too fat. Seems like they have hit a god balance at Burgermeister. I was eating an actual burger. Not a salad. Not something "light" and not a bucket of grease. Would gladly have paid more than 20 € for the 2 burgers.

I ordered via Uber eats for the first time ever. When the driver told me he was there i went and he was nowhere to he found... neither where my burgers. For whatever reason he was az a totally wrong address...also i uad shared my location and also provided my correct address. I contacted the uber eats support, wich told me they will solve the issue (template). As was was even more hungry... I irdered the exact same order again... to prevent another mistake i double checked my provided address and this time I even verified my address with the driver. Unfortunately this didn't help as well and my order was not delivered...AGAIN!!!! I have screenshots of the drivers admiring not having delivered the food and even of them using profanities when talking to me.

The next day I got a prewritten template from Uber eats saying "after checking the case...no refound will be done..." My mind was blowen. I truly never had such a bad experience when ordering some food.

I know that neither rhe personal nor the food of Burgermeister is to blame, nonethelessI need to warn everyone to not order there using Uber eat as there is a good chance you money is stolen and you stay hungry... not to mention the waste of time and...
