Kasteli Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Chania

That was our salvation from the different accomodation we booked before coming to Chania. Yes, it is not cheap but in return you got a big appartment (we got a 2-storey one with the view on the mountain) which is very quiet (very important for us), comfortable beds and a huge terrace where you may sit in the evening and sip the wine kindly offered by the owner of the place Alex and also dry your swimsuits after the day at the sea. Most importantly it is in the full center of Chania, and Alex offered us the parking lot which could be a deal breaker for many who come to Chania and rent the car to explore the area. Some of the things could be improved like a new hairdryer or if possible a proper kitchen fob for those who want to cook (we did not) and the washing machine, obviously this is the matter of the personal needs. Overall very pleasant stay and a huge thanks to Alex who was always very available...

Alex is a great host that made us feel very welcome in Chania. The welcome beers and fruits are a nice detail as well. I see there are differences in the rooms the ones facing the street can be noisy especially since the barrier between you and the street is one old sliding window and some shutters. The location is perfect it is right next to the old venetian harbour and next to amazing local restaurants that were recommended by Alex to us. In room 4 the placement of the AC is really unfortunate it is right above the bed which was too cold and direct, maybe a plexi shield would help. Thanks...

Io e la mia compagna abbiamo soggiornato a Casa Kasteli dal 19 al 28 agosto 2021. La struttura, dislocata in più appartamenti, è situata a poche centinaia di metri dalla zona del vecchio Porto Veneziano, area piena di negozi, bar, ristoranti,... Al nostro arrivo ci ha accolti, con grande entusiasmo e con un gran sorriso, Alekos, il proprietario che, dimostrando da subito cortesia e disponibilità, ci ha permesso di parcheggiare gratuitamente nel parcheggio privato (cosa non di poco conto vista la scarsità di parcheggi) e ci ha fatto lasciare le valigie, dandoci la possibilità di fare subito un giro per la città. L'appartamento molto accogliente, con tutti i comfort necessari per una vacanza all'insegna della comodità (cucina attrezzata, frigorifero sempre rifornito, camera rifatta ogni giorno,...). Che dire poi del bel cortile...area comune, ricca di fiori e piante, attrezzata con tavolini e sedie, location ideale per la colazione mattutina, una cenetta a lume di candela o i momenti di relax al rientro dalle lunghe giornate di visite ed escursioni. Per chi ama i gatti, anche qualche simpatico amichetto da accarezzare, mai troppo invadente. Ritornando al proprietario, Alekos, come detto gentilissimo e disponibile, ma soprattutto presente e pronto a soddisfare ogni necessità (dal darci informazioni utili per visitare la città e i dintorni, allo stamparci i biglietti, prenotati online, utili per le escursioni). Insomma ci siamo trovati benissimo e, se torneremo a Chania, sappiamo già dove alloggiare. Alekos e la sua Kasteli Suites sono una sicurezza.
