This was our second stay at this stunning house. The house itself is elegant, spacious and luxurious. There is a spectacular view over the old town and harbour from almost every window. It's so calming and relaxing. This visit was as magical as our first. This stay was during the festive season, the home was beautifully decorated with a stunning Christmas tree, elegant garlands and wreaths, and a cozy fireplace that created the perfect festive atmosphere. The owners put a lot of love and thought into every detail to make our stay so special.

Outside, Chania was alive with the Christmas spirit. The streets were decorated with twinkling lights, balconies adorned with traditional Christmas decorations, and even the boats in the Old Venetian Port are lit up. The town itself feels like a Christmas wonderland, such a beautiful time to visit. Spending the festive season in this extraordinary house, surrounded by the beauty of Chania, has been an unforgettable experience.

The location of this home couldn’t be more convenient. Shops, cafes, and restaurants are just steps away. Everything you need is at your doorstep. We hired a car to explore more of Crete and the owners of the home provided parking, truly a luxury in the Old Town.

Memorable Stay in Chania (Hania) We stayed at this lovely property for 3 nights as a group of 6 adults, and it was truly a memorable experience.

Our host, Chris, was exceptionally welcoming — he even stayed late to receive us, as our arrival was delayed due to bad weather.

The property itself was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. Every detail, from the kitchen to the living areas and bedrooms, was clearly designed with care. The kitchen was particularly impressive, stocked not only with appliances but also with some essential food items.

The location couldn’t have been better — just a short walk to the heart of Old Town Chania, with its vibrant food scene, charming shops, and historic sites. The ocean view from the balcony was an unexpected bonus and made for peaceful mornings and relaxing evenings.

Despite being in a lively part of town, the apartment was surprisingly quiet, offering a calm retreat from the bustle just outside.

Chris and his team, especially Yannis, went above and beyond to assist us with our luggage during both check-in and check-out. Secure parking was just a one-minute walk away, which was incredibly convenient.

We stayed at La Torre for one week and it was AMAZING! The hosts were at our beck and call for everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better, with amazing views of the city port and white mountains in the distance. Convenient to all the restaurants and shops, there is never a dull moment. The space itself is a Venetian building renovated to its full glory with travertine bathrooms, marble kitchen counters, and even a fireplace for those cooler months in winter.
