We came off a cruise that landed in Athens, so it was a rush to ourselves and all our luggage to Aegean Airlines in time to make it to Santorini, so by the time we landed in Santorini, we were indeed stressed and exhausted.|I'd pre-arranged with Fileria for a shuttle from airport to hotel, with an early morning return the next morning (6 am).|Felix was our shuttle driver and he met us with our names displayed, then snagged our luggage and led us out to a surprisingly luxurious shuttle van, where we finally relaxed a bit to enjoy the utterly scenic 30-minute ride.|Anna Marie was there with a smile to meet us at the entrance to the hotel while Felix and friends dealt with our luggage. She led us to a lower level reception to handle paperwork, and she passed us water and fantastic little chocolates; gave us a map of Oia and handled our questions, then led us to our first-floor junior suite.|It was beautifully appointed with simple elegance, an uber-comfortable bed, a neat little outdoor coffee-nook and a spaciously clean bathroom. The value was outstanding. For as good as everything was on our arrival, it was better on our departure.|We told them of the urgency in getting to the airport early (the rest of our trip would have been cancelled had we not made it), and they were at our door at 6am sharp with a knock, and the grabbed all our luggage, loaded up, handled room key and we were on our way. 20 minutes and we were at the airport!|Anna Marie was also on the ball as she packaged up a quick "breakfast" of juice boxes, bottled water, packaged chocolate croissants and some odd, tasteless crackers (LOL) and delivered it the night before we left.|I encourage visitors to stay here. It was so beautiful, clean and well-managed with personal, thoughtful attention to every detail. Truly one of the highlights of our trip and a fine way to end one of our most memorable...
Read moreWe enjoyed our three night stay at this hotel, which is coviently located right across the Oia pedestrian street.||The main feature that attracted us to this particular hotel during extensive search is the included free parking, which is no doubt a luxury in Oia. We found ourselves even happier with our choice when we were here in person. ||We love the included breakfasts that were brought up the stairs right into our suite each morning. They consisted of the exact choices we made on our arrival, for each breakfast: two eggs freshly made, crisp bacon, double shot espresso, fresh and still warm bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit salad (a non standard item the owner nicely offered on our request in replacement of something I forgot), and cake!||You could change your breakfast selection each evening for the day, but we chose to keep it simple by making it the same every day. From the carefully prepared and nicely presented breakfasts, we could feel a genuine effort to make us happy, and we really appreciate it!||We would definitely return to this hotel on our next visit, and we highly...
Read moreLoved my experience at Fileria Suites from the moment I booked till I left. This is a cute boutique hotel, just across the only/main road in Oia. It doesn’t have sea view but definitely compensates with cost and convenience. Two-story building, my room had a cute balcony. The breakfast is included in price and is delivered to your your room at requested time. Free WiFi. The a/c was working great! Shower pressure is great, and no water temperature fluctuations. The customer service is on point - they reached out as soon as I booked and recommended pick up/ drop off from airport and port, as well as boat tours. Which I ended up booking since the price was fair. My luggage was already in the car on my departure - absolutely great service! The hotel is walking distance to anywhere in Oia. It has convenient access to the main promenade with all gift shops just across the street. Also, highly recommend Melitini across the street - great...
