Andronis Luxury Suites — Restaurant in Municipality of Thira

Pros: Welcome staff was excellent, took us from drop off point to hotel reception (5 min) walk. Bell boys took care of bring the luggage. Staff took us to the room after checkin and explained some things and asked if we wanted to make dinner reservations or make reservations at a restaurant with a sunset view. We picked PacMan restaurant which is actually a restaurant at another Andronis property. Room had a great view and was spacious, bed was nice and firm with convenient outlets. Sofia was our housekeeper and she was always friendly and cleaned everything. Bellboy and wait service to bring breakfast to our room every morning was great. I don’t know how they carry so much up and down those stairs. Overall staff was attentive and welcoming. Cons: When we did the search to book the room we didn’t update the search to 2 people and after we booked we tried to update it back and hotel charged us 32 EUR for each night. But the cost was the same to book a room for 1 or 2 person stay. They gave us an upgraded room which was bigger, but it felt much inferior and not sure if the prior guest complained and got a different room. The room name is (Athena), through out the stay you can hear loud table screeching noises starting at about 7:30 am or so everyday. I believe the service room or restaurant was above the bathroom area. We didn’t notice day 1 as much as we were tired and afterwards we were unpacked. Day 3 during the day we wanted to turn off the AC and it wouldn’t turn off, we contacted front desk and they sent someone and he reset the AC and turned back on unfortunately he didn’t check if it could be turned off again and we were not able to turn it off at night and it was on high and we couldn’t turn it to silent mode or anything. On our check out the front desk automatically charged us USD and not EUR and said it was automatic, which we are sure it was not everywhere else gave us a selection or would default to EUR even at PacMan restaurant.

Overall we didn’t want our vacation ruined and just didn’t let all the negativity harm our vacation or experience. We would definitely return to Santorini again for the spectacular views...

A dream came true.|| |We always wanted to visit Santorini and after some research at Tripadvisor we decided to book a suite in Andronis Luxury Suites. When we first arrived we were very tired and the area were our transfer left us made us feel very uncomfortable ( at the middle of a square with hundreds of people from the cruise ships passing in front of us). After a few seconds a lovely lady came close to us and she said she was part of the Andronis team, a young man took all our 5 bags and together we walked to the hotel’s lobby. By the time we entered the area and we saw everyone’s smile we knew we have chosen the correct place!|| ||After a quick but detailed check in we went to our suite, it was what we were dreaming. A spacious bedroom and sitting area, lovely cave style bathroom and all the amenities we need it to make us feel like home. The suite was amazing but nothing can bit the outdoor area, a big private balcony with a hot tub and lounge chairs. We spent most of our time sitting at the balcony and watch the view. The hotel has from everywhere panoramic caldera view. Walking up every morning and watching that breathtaking view made us feel blessed!|| ||Food at the property is delicious, we tried different things every day at the breakfast and we did not manage to find something that we did not like. We did not try their lunch options as we thought it would be nice to go out for lunch and try something local. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was the best dinner we ever had! Everything was so well cooked and the service was spotless.|| ||The hotel, the view, the suites, everything is amazing in the Andronis Suites, but what makes this property the one and only is the staff!!! We stayed 8 days and 8 nights in the Infinity Pool Suite in late April. Might I recommend you to download two apps: Andronis (once you check-in you will receive your code to activate the app) and WhatsApp (which you communicate with the front desk for whatever you desire) When we checked in they greeted us with an aperitive and also had a bouquet of flowers waiting for us and sent a bottle of champagne and fruit to welcome us. The views were breathtaking, the staff were incredibly helpful (they remember your name as you walk by), breakfast was excellent (you order off their app, select a time and they promptly show up. When you are done with your dishes, send a text to WhatsApp to have them take them away). They change your sheets every other day (but you can request daily if you like), housekeeping comes twice a day (once in the day and again for turndown service). There are no elevators and many steps but thankfully they take your luggage to/from your room. We enjoyed a 90 min Holistic massage at Mare Sanus which was so relaxing. We enjoyed the Wine Pairing at the Sommelier's Table at Lycabettus (WORTH IT! The service was amazing as well as the entrees and wine! Book it far in advance.) We took the car service to/from the airport which was so nice not to have to worry about where anything is located, the drivers were professional, safe and friendly. We booked and enjoyed the Wine Tour with a Sommelier. Margarita was awesome! She introduced us to vertical wine tasting flights. What a treat! The hotel is located on the shopping pathway and is truly First Class! On day 3 my husband told me if we had to leave today this has been the best vacation you have ever planned...WIN! I must warn you, you get spoiled. On our first night home eating dinner my husband asked after we finished....who's going to take our dishes away???
