(Didn't get to take much photos due to my phone having not much memory)

But, I have to say this is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!

First: The location was great just about 3 or 4 minutes walk from the station(depending on how fast you walk I guess 😂) and it's close to the attractions around Asakusa and the owner has great recommendations(that you scan with a QR code)

Second: The staffs were great! Very friendly and speaks really good english!

Third: The rooms, I booked a bed with a view and it was the best thing ever! Having a view of the river and the skytree at night was lovely ❤️ the bed was really comfortable for me and spacious since I am quite petite. Had the best sleep ever! Everyone was so quiet at night that it was easy to fall asleep. I almost didn't go out much just enjoying the view from my bed lol.

Fourth: the lounge area was really nice too, very comfy and relaxing, although, for tall people you may have to bend down a lot to access the other side of the lounge lol but again, no problem for me since I am short.

Now for some cons in my honest opinion,

The shower room and bathroom can be a bit too hot since it's summer so just be aware of that, it isn't air-conditioned inside.

Stairs. Though I had no problem with it because I only had a backpack and some bags that I can carry. For people with big suitcases though may be a bit difficult. The staff will help to bring your stuff up though.

That's about it, overall this hostel is highly recommended! Get the one with the view of the river! Oh and I forgot to mention, the stairs for the upper bunk bed are a great design, most hostels have ladders but this one had actual steps to the upper bunk which is a huge plus for me since I really don't like climbing up ladders lol and this is irrelevant but I was assigned to the bed no. 8 which is my favourite number lol loved it so much!

Anyway, this is a long post. Thank you Chapter Two for my very comfortable stay! Will definitely come back again! And thank you for offering me an early check-in, saved me from the heat...

I stayed twin room at Hostel Chapter Two Tokyo for 4 nights this June. The location is very safe and really easy to get to the city centre. (more than expected) Personally, I preferred to this area rather than any other city centre (Shibuya or Ginza) because you can enjoy the peaceful vibe after prime time tourists getting back to their hotels. I strolled around hostel area at night and it was pleasure to see the calm Sensoji and its area as well feeling safety. The view from hostel is def plus point that you should visit here. I was kinda worried about noise from riverside, but it was absolutely ok.

One thing that I should mention is their kind service. I asked for extra duvets and the staff immediately brought them. Furthermore, I left my stuff at the hostel and I really appreciate that Hiroaki made all effort to give it back to me. I was truly impressed and hope everyone could feel this kindness while traveling Tokyo.

Although there are some minor inconveniences like there is no lift here, but it doesn't make sense that these inconveniences let you consider other options rather than here. I recommend here and really appreciate my experience here...

I’m booking private room at 3rd floor. Great river’s view. The room is okay, double bed with share bathroom. No refrigerator in the room but have at 1st floor, so just fine.

Staff are very helpful and really try hard to understand my accent. I have a 2 large luggages but they help to get it to my room. On the second day I have one large keyboard case that has to leave it on the luggage room. Also staff help us to get it inside and also help we get it out.

Share bathroom are good, cleaned, quiet and have enough facilities.

Cons: The place is a-bit small but tidy, a-bit hard to go upstairs if you stay on the 3rd floor with big luggage and no elevator. There’s some dust on the floor and beside the bed, if you’re not allergic is fine. The password for entering my room are not safe, there is password on the keycard but I have try some others numbers and I can still get in. So not sure if the password is still working. The room is not noise proof.

Lastly, if any staff reading this. I’m really sorry for forgot my keycards. I just came home and saw it in my...

Best things about this hostel 1) Airport connect - super easy to get to the hostel from the airport. Just take the airport Ginza line all the way to Asakusa and walk ~2min from the station. It cost about 1300yen per person. 2) Amazing service - the staff all speak different languages. They make you feel welcomed and are attentive to needs. The facilities are also clean. There is a bar downstairs that is open till 10pm and has a very chill vibe. 3) Close to attractions/food - the hostel is surrounded by restaurants and attractions. The Zenkoji temple is only ~5min walking. Of that's not enough the Ginza line is just 2 min way from the hostel. That should take you to Shibuya, Ueno, and other great locations. Bonus - Incredible views!!!! You will not find a Hostel like this one anywhere else.

Superb hospitality from the kind folks who run the place - ask them for restaurant recommendations. Within walking distance of Kaminarimon and Senso-ji. Highly accessible, with transit connectivity from airport (Haneda), shinkansen (Shinagawa) via Keikyu Line, as well as other major Tokyo attractions via Ginza Line. Outstanding cleanliness and facilities - new hairdryers and common room kotatsu were installed during my stay. Pleasant views of the Sumida River and Tokyo Skytree can be seen from some rooms, as well as the multi-purpose rooftop space with Wi-Fi connectivity - suitable for digital nomads. Hosts often invite you to join them for drinks and dinner if there is an event happening. Wholly deserving of the high ratings.
