Olive Spring Hostel — Hotel in George Town

Stayed for two nights. Comfy place and definitely worth the money I paid for the stay. The dorm was a little messy because everyone left their bags lying around,but the bunk bed itself is clean and comfortable. I had the bottom bunk bed and could feel if the person above me moved but that didn't bother me. As the place is next to Love Lane, noise is expected from the bars but again doesn't bother me as I can sleep through the noise, everyone who can't should definitely invest in earplugs. There is only one plug near your bed and a box to keep your belongings but it didn't come with a lock. They give you a towel as well, but there isn't enough place to hang the towels if the dorm is full . The place is centrally located, making it very convenient to explore Georgetown. You do have to lift a shutter and enter a passcode to enter and exit the place after 12am but I don't consider that a negative. Would definitely recommend this place to female...

The best female hostel in Penang! Most of Hostel in Penang that I look around is doesn't have curtain or anything that keep your private zone, but here they have it! Which is + value. They have spacious room and clean toilet and hot shower. I was stay in one room with 12 beds. Bed is comfortable and clean. The unique things from this hostel is it's located upstairs of coffee shop, bakery, and glasses shop. Early morning you will smell baked Pastry which is good wake up call. The minus things from this place is they played music in coffee shop till 12 PM. My suggestion is prepare your earbuds for that. So far this hostel is amazing, and definitely recommend this place for my friends when visiting Penang. I will back to this...
