Honest Review: Budget Stay Near Malacca’s Center
If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in Malacca and don’t mind sacrificing comfort, this hotel might be an option. It’s conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the main street, making it easy to explore the city on foot.
However, the hotel itself is quite dated and in need of serious maintenance. The cleanliness leaves much to be desired, and the facilities feel worn out. During our stay, we experienced issues with other guests smoking in the corridors and even in the shared bathroom, which was unfortunately right next to our room. This made the atmosphere unpleasant, especially since no staff seemed to enforce any rules.

It's near enough for walking, but not too near that it's too crowded2||2. Sun May Hiong Satay, Pak Putra, Limbongan Burger, Nancy's Kitchen are all within 1 km away! We walked to all the places, so at least you burn off what you eat! and Kedai Kopi Soon Yen (great nyonya laksa, duck noodles, nyonya kuih!) is only ~2km away!||3. Simple but adequate. Really basic amenities but it's really just a room to return to at night. It has an attached bathroom & honestly that's all i wanted =)||4. Enough free parking for guests.||||Cons:||1.
