It took some cross remote planning as we were still in Singapore to plan this not so surprising must do. The brief being to find a lovely semi fine eatery for us since we are unfamiliar with the options in Melacca that will please everyone. Western palate seems to offer something for everyone, including the picky eaters. Fat Bite's — what a cheeky name — was floated by my nephew as a suggestion. And after I watched a spurious social share of its offerings and menu with some interesting fusion with familiar local flavours I was sold. So soon after we rested a bit from the drive up from across we gathered the big family at Kampung Pulai and the two birthday twin and ferried everyone over from our lil kampung corner half an hour away.

The minute we saw the big front welcoming signage and warmth interior promised inside I was happy. Not everyday my wife and her Melaccan twin turned 60. We got a great table by the window for our big group and from them on it was just a wonderfully splendid experience that is lovely. Perfect for a special treat.

Now the food is truly too many to highlight or spotlight from their expansive menu but suffice to note that for the ones we ordered every single one tastes delish. Portions are just nice and I just must add that my duck salad with the Japanese dressing is absolutely delicious and satisfying. Everyone laughed for they know how serious I take my salad balancers. I can't go a day without greens so I was a happy camper. Check out the rest ordered and they're easily found so you can pour over their diverse protein led menu which truly makes you be spoiled for choice.

Just pop over. It's a...

Just got back from a lovely family meal in Melaka! With the whole crew – that's six of us, including the two kids – we dove into some seriously tasty food. The mushroom soup was a hit all around, and the garlic bread? Oh my goodness, the kids were obsessed! They kept asking for more, which is always a good sign, right? The chicken chop was the star for the little ones. They declared it "delicious" and were so cute, getting all excited about the little bits of mushroom in the sauce. Such a fun surprise for them! To quench our thirst, we had a round of juices – watermelon, mixed, and orange – all without ice, just the way we like them. The person who looked after us was just fantastic. Really paid attention to what we needed and was so kind to make the food more kid-friendly by leaving out the chili. It makes such a difference! We all had such a great time and the food was so good that we're already saying we have to come back here next time we're in Melaka. Definitely a...

i ordered two dishes but one of them delivered cold to me . this one staff who is a little bit overweight and freehair was very very very rude with her side eye . i didnt even disturb or do something that offended her feelings but she keep doing the gesture that offended and made me feel uneasy

I was diner in this one side of the restaurant but then surrounded with loud and distrubing people , but there is no single person approached or asked them to lower their voice , i know they also pay for their food but not to be loud asf and i cant even talk normally with my partner , i need to shout a little bit to have a normal conversation with my partner so she can hear me .

please educate or advice your staff politely although it just one person who rudely entertain the customer but this such a bad...

We, a group of three, arrived around 8 PM, a bit late. We were warmly welcomed with friendly smiles from the staff. The menu offered so many choices, from salads to pasta, that it took us a while to decide—but we finally made our choices, as shown in the photos. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and family-friendly. The room was comfortably cool. The food was superb and delicious, especially the chicken! The secret sauce truly lived up to its name—so yummy! The fish was also fresh and flavorful. Huge appreciation to the chef! 🙌 We will definitely come back whenever we get the chance. Warm regards to the lady that took our orders :) . Love from Indonesia! 🇮🇩
