LEJU 8 — Hotel in Malacca

stumbled upon this gem of a place in air bnb as we were planning for a short trip to melaka:) and oh my what a stellar finding it was! First, the location! it was located at this quiet street on day time that gradually turns to a brightly-lit, lively street during night which was a very very lovely surprise ! the whole night vibe kinda took us back all the way to those romantic italian streets famously seen in movies/music videos! :) and the house itself was such a rarity! it was an old malacca house which had been refurbished elegantly into a very cosy and minimalist abode! the chairs in the living room were snug and stylish enuf to rest on after a long day spent walking all over the town and those super comfy beds upstairs definitely were to die for! we put our heads and immediately dozed off despite all the spanish and occasional taylor swift songs that was playing outside (it was surprisingly lovely, totally bearable and not noisy at all!)

and the bathroom was totally unforgettable; imagine waking up on a bright morning to wash your face while enjoying the greens, the sun, the street view overlooking all those cute cafes with patrons enjoying their breakfast downstairs were such a lovely experience ! definitely will come back here soon to enjoy the serene morning vibe and the lively joyful music at night!...

This is a hidden jewel . Right from the attention to detail to the cleanliness to service it’s amazing. As u enter u get a wave of cosying vibes . The living area is old world charm minimal n welcoming. Head to the unique bathroom n it’s a oasis for simple acts of a long n warm shower after spending ur day shopping n exploring Melaka. I am a very picky person when it comes to hotel . Tbh , I was skeptical at first when looking at the photos , but after we got there . This place is AMAZING !
