The Hang Jebat Mausoleum is the tomb of Hang Jebat, the legendary Malaccan and friend of the equally famed Hang Tuah. While loyal to his friend, Hang Jebat is equally well known for rebelling against the sultan and as the story goes, went on a rampage. I can’t speak about the veracity of such stories because I only came to see the mausoleum. The mausoleum is contained within a walled garden at the end of which is Islamic style grave underneath a canopy. The garden and general area are surprisingly well kept.The garden has several display boards describing the story of Hang Jebat in more detail.
