I stayed here on and off for about 6 weeks over an 11 week period and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. First of all the management and staff were very friendly, helpful and totally professional. I felt they genuinely cared about me as a guest. The situation is very central, very close to Thamel tourist area, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and entertainment but only 5-6 minutes walk to the bustling Asan bazaar, the beautiful Garden of Dreams and very interesting Narayanhity Palace museum and former Royal family's private residence. It's also only about 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Durbar square. The famous Kathmandu Guesthouse, restaurant and garden is literally 30 seconds walk away. It's also close to the tourist bus park in Sorakhute - about 5 minutes walk. For a budget hotel it is excellent value. My A/C double-bed room was clean, bright and comfortable with plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Great view out the window across the city looking out to Sawyanbhunath and Dharahara in the distance. And on the rooftop terrace the view is excellent. The food was to a high standard and good value. If you're looking for luxury, look elsewhere, but if you are looking for great value budget accommodation I can highly recommend...
Read moreI highly recommend this hotel to stay in Thamel. The room was clean and with heaters. The wifi was strong in the rooms. The food they serve here is very tasty and clean. The chef Rajkumar really cooks well and I loved his Thukpa and hot chicken wings. The helper Hementa was a nice guy always serves our food in the room at correct time.|Resham the receptionist also was very friendly to us and accommodating. The guys in the hotel are really helpful. I’ve met the owner of the hotel Raju very humble man and didnt mind to drop us in the airport on our last day. He was the one also who arrange our tours. So you can just booked your hotel here then you can take your tours with him.they have a great team from drivers and tour guides that will make your stay in...
Read moreI was able to find this location through my trekking company and I was grateful they had a recommendation for me as I just wanted something simple. I was able to look at the room prior to booking it and that was nice. I decided to take the room because it had air conditioning, was a fair price, and decent location. what I overlooked was the bathroom was a bit below my standards. the toilet seat was old and cracked and the shower sprayed water all over the room to include the ceiling. overall it was ok, but not nice compared to what I could have gotten for a few dollars more just down the road. I will say the staff were kind and friendly, but I wont be staying again after the trek. they did hold my luggage for me during my trek for free which was an...
