I suppose everyone has their opinion, but being objective our experience at Hotel Greenland was disappointing. Firstly after thinking we found a lovely spot, large garden, open room with abundant sunlight, great views of the mountains things went for hay in a hand-basket. After 17-days of trekking we wanted a hot shower, but no hot water. The explaination was a bunch of folks washed clothes that day and used it up - we did see their clothing hanging. Worse was waking up in the morning to ice-cold water. No showers yet. Next was sending off a kilogram of clothing for maching washing only to find before heading out on a rented motorcycle a buff was missing (needed for face covering in traffic). Delayed, we went for breakfast, came back and it had been found, but not picked up. They said, "it will be here tomorrow"! Frustrated I forced the issue and finally after another lost hour got the buff. Worse was yet to come. As we received the buff another person came up and said - "you have to move out of the hotel, we have a large group coming today". Getting turned away from a hotel was a surprise to us. It's never before happened. Granted, when we checked in we were not sure how many nights we'd stay, in all fairness we did say 2-nights, but it is common to extend nights without problems. They could have easily advised us that only two nights were available before we moved in, but that would mean turning away our business because had we like it we would have stayed a week. Personally I think it was a selfish tactic. Still wasting time on the day's motorcycle rental we gathered our belongings and moved out. Fortunately I was upset enough about the lack of hot water I earlier walked next door to check a nearby hotel - in this case the next door Nobel Inn. There I found a wonderful, classic mansion-style hotel set in an equally beautiful garden where grounds were simply impeccable. For less money we moved to this wonderful family-run hotel. Before deciding on Greenland you may just want to consider Hotel Noble Inn. It's right next door. Read about it on TripAdvisor. You'll see all excellent reviews and will not be...

We did not sleep in the Greenland hotel, so we cannot review that. ||April 2017 my wife and I went to Nepal for vacation. A part of our vacation was in and around Pokhara. We did the Annapurna trekking and we stayed a couple of days in Pokhara. This part of our vacation was partly organised by Mr. Kamal Pahari. He delivered exactly to the promise. The things he had to arrange were done as agreed and in time. Communication with Kamal was very easy. He also responded quickly. ||The twelve day trekking was guided by Chandra and supported by porter Sagor. These guys were very easy going. After a couple of days you start to get to know each other. The were open to share many private stories of their lives. We really felt very comfortable with them. The night before we left Pokhara, a few days after the trekking, Chandra cooked us a diner we enjoyed with his family. We brought the drinks. Dutch treat in Nepal :-) Thanks guys for the overwhelming and fun trekking!||Kamal, although we thanked you already in person we would like to thank you again for your great help in and around Pokhara!||Best...
