3 Nights/May, 2023

This is an amazing new hotel with professional service and management.

I'm traveling to Nepal since 17 years and have seen many hotels in Pokhara and Kathmandu during all these years. And yes, fortunately the newer ones are really getting better, but I still think that the HHK is exceptional.

I can't pass the story how I found the Hotel Hidden Kingdom (HHK), actually we (me and my friends) had two rooms in an another hotel next to HHK. But as we couldn't sleep most of the night due to the noise of other guests in our current hotel, I went out early morning to look out for a new accomodation in the same area as it's very convinient.

Anyways to keep it short, I was really lucky to find HHK as everything seemed to be perfect, lower middle ranged room rate, which I was looking for, but the standard was higher. Everything is new and way better quality than most of the hotels in the same price range.

The rooms are big and modern, equipt with everything needed. The rooms and the entire hotel including lift/elevator, stairs, restaurant etc. is very clean and the housekeeping staff is always around and clean and you can see how profesionally equiped they are.

Breakfast was great with again professional service and we could see that the kitchen staff is properly dressed and everything looks very modern and hygiene.

Also the Assistent Manager and the Manager himself are really professional and look after their guests. They arranged us a paragliding tour, our airplane tickets to Kathmandu and the airport transfer for a really reasonable price compared to others.

So I really do recommend this place and hope that it will keep up it's good service in the future! Hope to stay...

PROS: (1) COMFORT/CONVENIENCES: I had a room with a mountain view and balcony. The bed was comfortable. There was AC/heater, small refrigerator, work space, easily accessible electrical outlets near bed & basic toiletries.

(2) LOCATION: In walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shops and Lakeside Road (the popular main strip).

(2) SERVICE: Superb!!! Of special note: Mr. ARZUN, front desk clerk, welcomed me every time I re-entered the hotel. He was very professional, accommodating & often asked me if there was anything I needed. ~ Then there was also RAM SUNAR, who actually walked me to the river for my boat ride (instead of just giving me verbal directions), brought me fresh towels & toilet paper (when housekeeping didn’t clean my room) & prepared me hot tea while I waited in the lobby for my airport transfer.

I didn’t choose this hotel myself. It was actually part of a package from my tour agency, but I could not have been more pleased with my stay.

CONS: (1) Shower doesn’t have a floor partition or step-over, so water collects on the floor. (2) Instant (powder) coffee is complimentary at breakfast. But if you order a brewed coffee, there is a charge at checkout. Although the cost is nominal, it should be offered free to guests (like many similar...

Absolute Best Hotel! We stayed at the Hotel Hidden Kingdom as a family after a trek in the Annapurna region and it was the PERFECT place to rest and recover. The location is fantastic and close to great restaurant, shops and the lake.

This hotel prides itself on customer service and this was noticeable from texts from the Manager after booking online and after checking in to ensure everything was acceptable. Arjun at the front desk was also super friendly and went out of his way to help us. We even got an upgrade to an amazing family suite for all 3 nights.

Cleanliness was top notch, beds were extremely comfortable...best in Nepal from our experience.

The restaurant has an extensive menu of high quality food, which is exactly what you want after eating from the same menu on the trek. Our stay included a free breakfast buffet in the morning, again, with a wide range of foods and drinks. Both adults and kids were very happy with each meal.

The hotel also booked us a private vehicle to take us to Kathmandu and our driver and vehicle were safe and comfortable, making...

Absolute delight of a place! Heaven in Pokhara! Room is super spacious, very clean, spotless bathroom, hot water with great water pressure, free water bottles, fridge, comfy beds, clean bedding, fresh towels, daily room service, a balcony with views, and breakfast included in the rate. Breakfast is unlimited and very good: fresh watermelon juice, bowl of fresh fruit, pancakes, eggs any way, toast, sausage, potato croquettes, and seasoned veggies. I could go on and on. You won't be disappointed in Hotel Hidden Kingdom! The only negatives were the pillows are way too stiff and the massage booked through the hotel was disappointing. The bathroom could also use a permanent air freshener. Small things when it comes to the overall stay!
