As a local, I’ve given this place multiple chances, but it's clear they prioritize tourists over the community that supports them year-round. Service is noticeably colder and less attentive if you're not flashing a camera or asking for recommendations in broken English. Prices are inflated, and the staff makes little effort to make locals feel welcome. It's disappointing to see a business in our own town cater more to short-term visitors than to the people who live and work here. I sat here and worked nearly throughout the day and the staff were kind and accommodating enough to allow me to do that and to make sure I was not disturbed. The coffee they served (anaerobic, something) was brilliant and I loved it—even though I rarely enjoy black coffee. The burger they served was, easily, the best burger I have ever had in my life in some 3-4 countries I have so far travelled in. The blueberry smoothie was fresh, and thick. Read moreGood use of local taste and ingredients to make a dish (the eggs Benedict has local twists to it) which was appreciated as i understand it’s hard to import many good quality foreign sauces and vegetables. The shop did really well to compensate for that.
