OYO 223 Hotel Bien Venue — Hotel in Pokhara

Truly regret staying here. The whole property is gloomy, dull, I'll maintained and almost ruined our stay. We saw multiple rooms and the bathrooms were leaking all over, the toilet seat was leaking and seemed the owner was just not bothered about the place. The room was just blah. We dared not even enter their so called restaurant as Pokhra has hundreds of eateries.

Most shocking was when we went to get our luggage back after our trek, which any decent hotel offers to keep. There was a woman, likely the owner who first of all kept mute when i asked for my bag had a laptop in it. She said she couldn't find the bag and when i Demanded to see the guy who had kept our luggage, he somehow gave it to me. The woman kept saying "I kept your bag and now you're staying somewhere else". This was SHOCKING. I almost said pls go and look at your pathetic rooms and bathrooms that are crying for maintenance.

I took my bag and walked out. Avoid this place at all costs. An appeal to the owner "you're not doing anyone a favor by storing luggage...any decent place does that. If you think that customers are Obliged to stay at your place just because you kept their bag, pls get...

We stayed for three nights and four days. ||The room we got had the basic necessities but wasn’t the proper. The mirror was small and low, the lights weren’t that properly placed. The TV wasn’t working. The bathroom door had problem in lock and didn’t have any handle on door from inside. ||The rooms are clean, there is enough space on stairs and veranda. The decorations are average. The food choices are limited and service is a bit slow. But the food is good. ||The staffs are attentive...

It was great. Staffs were really helpful and happily accommodate any changes in the booking, which is the best part. Free breakfast, of course. The other thing we didn't notice until we left was, they didn't charge for any extra coffee/tea/water and other stuffs. Even though the cost for those items are not heavy, it is an amazing gesture that proves that service comes first. Definitely recommended to anyone visiting Pokhara.
