Please don't ruin your holiday by making a booking at this hotel. I had booked a suite room, but was not provided one, and when I checked with the front office, they said that the room which was given to me is also a suite. I showed him the pictures of the suite available on Booking.com, Agoda, and even their website. He then says, that room is already occupied. How do I have a valid booking for a suite then? The next morning- there is no water in the washroom. I call the front office, and there's no resolution for the next 30 minutes. I went to the front office and then they fix it. During the checkout the front office guy asks me for the full amount of the suite, and I say I have been given another room, why should I pay that amount? He offers me a 10% discount. I had to invest all my energy into explaining him that I am not paying the requested amount. Finally, I paid the rate for the room given to me, with a 10% discount after arguing a lot. How are these guys running a hotel when they don't know anything about hospitality?

A major issue is the noise level. The rooms are extremely thin-walled, so you can hear everything from the neighboring rooms and the hallway, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.
The reception staff was completely incompetent – even simple requests or questions were either ignored or poorly handled.
Breakfast is only served in the room, which wouldn’t be a problem if it didn’t take at least 30 minutes to arrive – and even then, you might not get what you actually ordered.
Another big downside: We had no hot water for the first two days, which made the stay even less enjoyable.
Overall, I cannot really recommend the Jade City Hotel. If you value functionality, good service, and comfort, it’s better to look for...
Read moreJade City Hotel has a lot going for it. The location is super convenient—right at Lakeside—so getting around was easy and stress-free. The view from the hotel was beautiful, and I really enjoyed my stay overall.
Breakfast was a highlight. It was much better than what I’ve had at other hotels—fresh, tasty, and with good variety. The place also felt quite luxurious, and the WiFi speed was impressive, which made things even better.
However, a couple of things need improvement. The toilet flush in my room wasn’t working properly, and the soundproofing could be way better. I could hear people in the neighboring rooms clearly, and I’m pretty sure they could hear me too. It made sleeping a bit difficult, so just keep that in mind if you’re someone who values peace and quiet.
Overall, it’s a great spot with a few minor setbacks. Would still recommend it for the location, service,...
