Picture Point Villa — Hotel in South Island

While the Picture Point Villa is wonderfully equipped, spacious, comfortable and was truly a home away from home, it was the team behind the scenes that made our stay so special. From booking inquiries, reservations, receivership of ski equipment prior to our arrival and responding immediately to any issues or questions, Ange, Erik and the crew are fantastic people who deeply care that their guests have the best experience possible. The Villa itself has a beautiful view of the lake and was a block or so from The Queenstown Hill Walkway which is a must do hike regardless the season. We appreciated that the villa is a stand alone house, with no shared walls. The garage was great for our ski equipment and our original intent was to rent a car, but we found a great driver that brought us to the ski fields so we nixed that idea. The rest of the time, we used Uber which was super easy and we didn't have to deal with parking in town. If you are staying in Queenstown you simply have to stay at Picture Point Villa. From the moment you check in you'll be captivated by the extraordinary panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu. With high quality finishes the villa feels luxurious, whilst still feeling comfortable and has been filled with large prints of nearby locations which adds a nice touch. Having multiple living areas, spacious bedrooms (including walk in wardrobes) and large bathrooms makes the villa ideal for families. The location is close to the town centre making it convenient for any stay, whilst also being far enough away to be able to relax and unwind after a day exploring all the area has to offer. Great place to stay in Queenstown. It has magnificent view of the entire town centre and Lake Wakatipu. Ange was so accommodating and nice in ensuring that we have everything we need during our stay. The amenities provided are top notch too - from the hand soap to kitchen supplies.

The location was near to the city centre but not too near that its still quite private in the evenings when you just want to chill in the house. A great place for family and friends to consider!

Do note that if you have a few luggage, there are quite a few flights of stairs to go through as the house has 3 stories.
