We stayed at Ware Ware room 105 for 4 nights. The view from the hostal is simply amazing and I enjoyed sitting there any moment of the day. There is a good WiFi connection en Plaza de Armas is only 7 minutes waking (down hill!).||The hostal does need an UPGRADE: the rooms are freezing cold and the heater was falling apart. Also sometimes two out of the three of us were able to shower with warm water. Also the roof is made of some kind of foam which does not seem very safe. ||Furthermore, the toilet was broken. So every time you sit it would make this loud sound. Also the tab was not working properly, it was very hard to close and so the water would keep dripping.||Also the towels were hangend back in the room when we left them on the ground, which means we would like fresh ones. ||And then there was the smell in the room. We think it came out of the restroom but we’re not sure. It kind of smelled like a sewer sometimes.||Breakfast is poor and they buy the exact amount what they think their guest will eat. You’re lucky if the bread is warm and you get exactly 1/3 of an egg and a little cup of jam. ||What maybe even bothered me the most is when we arrived. We messaged them in advance that we would arrive really early in the morning, but when we arrived it took maybe 15 minutes for someone to open the door while the temperature was around freezing. As there was no room available yet (which is understandable) we waited in the common room, in the dark. We were not offered any hot beverage nor provided the WiFi code. We were told to “be quite because guests are sleeping”.||I would NOT recommend Ware Ware, unless they would dramatically upgrade the building. Please book your accommodation...

Read moreThis is the hardest place I have had to review, because I would stay again, but there are certain sorts of people that wouldn't like it.||||First let me start with the great aspects:||||1.) The host Miguel is a delight. He is always around, super friendly and can't do enough for you. He speaks perfect English and Spanish, an absolute treasure!||||2.) The views are exceptional.||||3.) The WIFI is very fast also, which for me is critical.||||||The Not so good||||1.) It's loud. If you are staying inside, the doorbell and phone ring all day and into the night. The kids, dog and other guests make a lot of noise. If you are a light sleeper and staying in the main room bedroom, it's really annoying.||||2.) At night it's super cold. There is no heater, so you have to wear all of your warm gear.||||||Who it's for||||If you just need a place to sleep, and a caring hosting. Then this is for you. Explore cusco, and the attractions, then get back here late at night. Then you will love it.||||I would stay here again if I was coming to be a tourist and not lounge around much. Oh, and like many places in Cusco, you need to be fit, as you will have to climb external stairs to get up from the square to the property... overweight unfit people need not apply. lol||||Hope that helps you choose a...
