Hotel is up a few flights of stairs on the fourth floor past the Fusion Andino restaurant. There is street side entrance by a cell phone accessories shop (or some type of electronic spot) which is next to a ScottiaBank ATM. The building houses a massage parlor on the second floor and a few shops and restaurants on the first. For after hour entry, there is a buzzer at that same entrance and the attendant will begrudgingly come downstairs and open the door.
Check in was easy enough but staff was curt and overall indifferent. I love to smile and usually it's infectious but these guys weren't having it.
Room was a good size. The couple's bed was huge and the pillows comfortable although they only had three sleeping pillows and two very firm decoration pillows made of wool so they are a bit rough on the face to sleep on so they technically don't count. The lighting was great and during the day the natural light illuminates the room well. Shower runs very hot!
The TV is mounted too far from the bed, so although it is a good size, the picture was small from the bed. It was NBA playoff season during my stay and the west coast games were on TV at 10pm-12:30/1am. Usually I wouldn't care about the TV as I'm out exploring but it just so happened I was interested in the series and it was on past exploring time, so it's worth noting. Channel options are great.
Maybe most people won't run into this issue but it is worth noting as it basically gave me a bad taste and I will never stay here again because of it. My fiance, her sister and I were staying in Cusco and doing a day trip to Machu Picchu. The sister was staying at a different hotel down the road near the Choco Museum. We arrived Wednesday early afternoon, checked in, ate at the restaurant downstairs then went exploring the church, square, museums, paths, etc. San Pedro is convenient to most of these and on our way to her hotel.
We all three need to use the restroom so we decide to stop at our room. Not 10 seconds after waking into our room do I get a phone call from the front desk asking why there is a third person in the room. I explain the situation and the gentleman on the phone told me we needed to hurry up and get her out. He then said that I needed to go talk to them in person asap as if I were a child that needed chastising.
I have never had any issue with bringing a friend or anybody into a hotel room. It is not expressed in any sign or on any of the paperwork I received for the front desk to be so rude. If it was an issue, be firm but friendly and upon the explanation given, the staff member should've been understanding.
Poor hospitality staff. The only member that was nice was the lady...

Hotel is located on the third floor of a 4 story complex with electrical shops at bottom travel agencies and restaurants on the 2nd floor right under the rooms. As soon as you walk into the building it smells like curry because of the indian restaurant. It is really difficult to find from the street as there is no signage just a tiny buzzer with the name of the hotel.
The hotel is so noisy, you can hear everything from the street, people on ground floor talking, playing music till 11 12pm to the restraunt washing dishes at 12pm underneath your room. Not to mention the church bells ringing at 5am
Room 301 has the restaurant exhaust fan blasting above the roof huming so loudly, asked numerous times to turn it off. They couldn't do anything about it... After making complaints about the constant noise they eventually moved us to the other end of the hotel.
Rooms have no heating or air con so they get really hot because they are under the roof and have no windows. The breakfast is awful.
Decided to write this after doing a full day tour to Machu Picchu. Left Cusco 4 am and got home at 9pm. After long day wanted to jump in the shower to relax .... there was no hot water, wasn't happy to say the least
Only got two stars because the guys at reception are so helpful and nice

|NO...
