Casa D' Estrella Apartelle — Hotel in Malay

So my boyfriend's cousin's cousin asked about how it's like to be in Bora and that he'd want to go there for the summer. This was a month back so obviously there was not much planning that transpired. He bought them tickets to Kalibo and started to look for places to stay. They chanced upon Casa D'Estrella as it was very affordable, able to accomodate 4 people in a room and available at the dates of the travel. It's a quaint place which could be a little challenging to find at it is not along the beachfront, and situated along a narrow road where the new hospital is built. Not the most ideal location but the rooms made up for it. The room was clean, and very well airconditioned. The room was so cold and the bed comfy. The toilet was also clean and they had hot water. The place felt secured amid the narrow road as it had its own gate. The attendants were also very friendly and accomodating. Every year my husband and I always go to Boracay, it's our favorite place to unwind and relax. Back in March 2016, I went to look for a budget hotel/inn and saw this in Agoda. It has good reviews for an inexpensive place to stay so this became my choice. We then decided to book a budget room for 2 nights and got it for PHP3,300 only with breakfast. The room is just right for 2 people and has no T.V. ||||The apartelle is like a house and has that homey vibe. The staff were great as well though I forgot the lady who took care of us. They were nice and accommodating. It is a 2-minute walk to the beach and would have to pass by an alley. Personally, that is fine with me but if you are traveling with a child or baby, it would not feel safe to pass by there especially at night. The apartelle is accessible to D'mall as well. Casa D' Estrella Apartelle truly deserves a much higher rating. Hidden behind the imposing presence of a huge 4-star hotel in the heart of Boracay Station 2, this 2-star lodge is by no means lacking in value & significance. It undeniably excels in the quality of its service, affordability & warm hospitality. Our family stayed here for only a night but all of us left the place as satisfied & happy guests.||||The family room beds (1 queen & 2 singles) are wide, comfortable & soft. The furnishings may be a bit dated but everything inside the room was clean & functional (including the hot water for shower). We thoroughly enjoyed their free breakfast set. Simple yet filling.
