Hostal Flores — Hotel in Madrid

Very clean and affordable.

LOCATION It's literally next to Primark right on Gran Via. It cant get any better than that.

CLEANLINESS No complaints. Everything was spotless.

PRICE Paid 45€ for a room with a double bed. Great price considering the location and everything else

AMENITIES We had everything we needed. Towels, travel toothbrushes and toothpaste, shampoo, WiFi

CHECK IN They had no issue with us checking in at midnight. The owners are super sweet. The checkout is at 12

ROOM The room was great. The bed was comfy and there was a balcony with a nice view of Madrid.

BATHROOM All the rooms have a bathroom inside but we had the room with the bathroom outside and it was totally fine. It's right next to the room.

THINGS TO CONSIDER The room we stayed at was very cold at night because the window wouldn't close tightly since it has poor isolation and even though we stayed here in September, it was super cold in the morning. Ask for extra blanket. Also the corridor floor is a bit noisy so don't be surprised haha

OVERALL If you aren't picky and need a place just to sleep and leave stuff behind, this is more than enough. I definitely recommend it...

The Flores is very cozy. It is on the 8th floor which makes it safe and gives a great view of the city! In a great neighborhood (especially if you like shopping). The owners are very nice and the space reflects the price. Not all of the rooms are small (I stayed in 2 of them) but most are comfortable and give you the basics. The beds are not the best and the wifi isn't great, but still worth it...

Lo primero que se debe destacar es su espléndida situación en plena Gran Vía madrileña. No tienes más que bajar a la calle para estar en pleno centro. Sí, ya se que eso ocasiona que por la noche puedas oir algo de tráfico o sierenas de los servicios de emergencias, pero si estás en el centro....es lo que tiene.||Aparte de eso, lo que percibes nada más llegar es la amabilidad de sus dueños. Siempre dispuestos a solucionarte culaquier duda o contratiempo, incluso, debo reconocer que me tocaron el corazón con un simple detalle. Al llegar, ofrecieron a mi hijo una magdalena y una manzana.....que mi pequeño recogió con alegría. Dado lo tarde que era, la verdad es que se los agradecí en el alma.|| En conclusión; no esperes lujos, si tu estancia es para pasarla todo el rato disfrutando del alojamiento, quizá deberías plantearte otro sitio, pero si lo que quieres es estar bien situado y tener un sitio donde descansar y asearte entre visita y visita a la capital, no lo dudes, es el lugar adecuado.
