Bongo Stay — Hotel in Colombo

If you're looking for a budget friendly and yet a very nice place to stay in Colombo, check this one out. Our room was clean and had AC, the bathroom was spacious, we also had a small terrace. The staff was super friendly! Wifi was working very well (not that common in Sri Lanka, especially these times.) The only thing to improve would be the coffee - they only have the instant one, but if you're in a need for some good caffeine, there is a good place just two streets away called "The Brown...

Hard to review because I think we had bad luck...

The room was adequate and the staff were nice, but there were ants all over the bathroom, even on the toilet seat. Luckily this was quickly fixed when I asked for spray.

Then I went to shower and there was no water. I thought they turned it off so I went to bed, I woke up and still no water! Unfortunately the plumber didn’t come until after I checked out.

Would be good though if they labelled their shampoo,...
