Please don't go with the stars here. We have being fooled. People have given 5 stars because they have this free desert for every 5 star review. It's the worst hotel in Bangkok. I tried so many hotels in my 6 day stay in Bangkok and Pattaya this is the worst hotel. Wish there was a option to rate in minus. I had to forcibly give 1 star as that is the least in reviews. 1. Delay in service: There was no crowd still the service was too delayed. My father in law was diabetic so we asked him the time range before ordering and he said 10 mins. We were served wrong food post 30 minutes waiting. 2. Quality of food: the soup was just too thick. Seems they just used aararoot powder so much that the soup had that raw smell of it. 3. No knowledge about the menu: when we asked waiter about the food that is best he was blank and when we asked him about the difference in thalis mentioned in menu, he had to get another waiter he too was only aware about 2 thalis and then the other waiter came even he wasn't sure. So we went back and order ala carte. 4. Lack of communication: We ordered food something else and the waiter served us something else. We had specially mentioned no paneer as one of the member of our family was alergic to dairy product. Still they served us panner vegetable and when we questioned them then they served us the same food after removing paneer. Hence all vegetable curry is same they just replace the veggies. And to mentioned our family member had an alergy post having that curry as they just replaced vegetable in curry. 5. Unclean table: They clean the table with same cloth and don't wash it. The moment waiter cleaned the table there was that stink on the table. Luckily I had face wipes because of which we could have our dinner. Over all feedback: Better have thepla which any Indian might have carried while going to out of India. Or any ready to eat meal boxes or just order anything from 7 eleven or have fruits or just go to sleep hungry. Please don't go to Saras... It's not at all saras. If I still planning all the best and God bless u.

I had a simple lunch of aloo puri and masala chai. There were about 3 tables with customers including me. The set up is a bit weird. You pay right at the entrance like a fast food restaurant and look at the menu right there in front of the cashier. I sat down and waited for my meal and eventually got my aloo puri. It was okay. I kept waiting for my masala chai, but I eventually had to flag down the one waitress to get me my chai. She was not the most attentive person. She kept looking at the door as if a massive group was going to come in. I’m not sure why she would not focus on the 3 tables instead. My masala chai eventually came and it was about a 100ml in a clay cup. I asked for another and had to flag her down again. I mistakenly assumed it was a free refill since the 100ml masala chai was 60 baht. As I was leaving the lady waitress stopped me and asked me to pay for the chai. I had to clarify with the English speaking supervisor that the 2nd chai was not included. It seems a bit chincy to charge 60 baht for masala chai and not get refills. Even in the United States they charge the same amount and you can have free refills. I mean chai is cheap, like rice at a Chinese restaurant. I would suggest making the 100 ml masala chai that they charge 60 baht unlimited refill, or at least one free refill. I mean how much chai can a person really drink. Also, can’t they make it like a normal restaurant where you have a server taking your order? They have such a huge menu you need a little time to review it so sitting down would have been nice. I was going to eat there again, but the chai incident kinda killed my desire. There’s too many other places I can go.

We specifically searched for vegetarian pizza in Bangkok and were willing to walk here from the hotel. Found out it was in building shared with their Indian restaurant downstairs and pizza chef was out today. Nonetheless staff was very nice and explained to us and we could still get other dishes. Which was kinda great since I enjoy vegetarian Indian food that was not too spicy and daughter more pizza. They accommodated us so we could order from both menu. Shared staff very pleasant, no rushing, and I ordered the Paneer in Dosai, which came perfectly warm and crispy at the edges, super thin and just chewy near the center. They came with 3(!!!) sauces or dips, one a 'sambal' curry with nice veggie chunks of okra, long bean, and others, a white or coconut sauce that was not spicy, and a tomato based curry that was the spiciest but still perfect for me. They served the big plate with silverware so you don't need to get your hands greasy. I cut sections and added sauces one helping each time to enjoy separately. Even with my sensitive tummy, I was able to finish it all on my own totally fine without any Dumping syndrome. The nice not Chai tea helped greatly, I added one raw/brown sugar pack and was perfect for the earthenware cup size. I ordered a second one after that. Staff was very pleasant and she smiling pleasantly each time, giving us what we need promptly also. 👏👍🏻🏆

Earlier last weekend I went and explored this Local Indian restaurant that was pure vegetarian food, all I can say was the location was so easy to find that I didn’t require a map… all jokes aside, I entered the Saras with my expectations set on authentic Indian food, and all I can say is it didn’t disappoint. The first thing as soon as I took a whiff of air in I could smell my aunts cooking in India and it made me miss India.

I was guided to my seat and handed over the menu, the waiters had a smile on their faces had great hospitality, and I ordered the masoor masala dosa and a sweet lassi. While waiting I walked around and had a look at the desert area. And to see the variety of delicious authentic Indian desserts put a smile on my face. About 10 minutes later my food arrived, the crispy texture of the dosa mixed with the steaming hot sambar sauce just tasted like home, I was mesmerized by the flavour and how evenly the stuffing was spread out, fantastic. To balance out the spice I took a sip of the sweet lassi and WOW the flavour in that drink is better than your 300 baht Starbucks coffee the authentic taste and the creamiest of that drink made me wanna walk to the chef and congratulate him. After I devoured that amazing meal I went and ordered a couple of desserts, I started off with the gulab jamun and on the side, I ordered some milk cakes. The gulab jamun syrupiness and the dough of the jamun really made me starstruck the flavour was out of this world, and to end it all off with the milk cake. WOW, the taste of the milk cake I can just taste the authenticity.

The environment of the restaurant is fitting for families as I noticed it was packed with family and the diversity was mixed every person I asked about this restaurant said it was amazing, I truly believe I've found a hidden gem.

Overall all I can say is im glad I found out about this restaurant, living in thailand I've never found an authentic Indian restaurant and im glad I found this, it made me miss home more than ever, and it really quenched my craving for AUTHENTIC INDIAN FOOD! And for the price, all I can say is I will be returning for all that I paid a solid 800 baht and it was probably the best Indian food I've had in thailand. So I really do recommend you...
