Totally humiliated, cursed by staff, threatened and forced to leave the establishment with a cancelation booking on the fly! Such poor facility to call a place like this a “hotel”! I would start directly by describing what we endure, in 1 day and a morning that we had while staying at this “hotel” while no option was available to change rooms except family room witch was something that we did not need it! Economy room was the bare minimum of existence, a small window with no option of natural light which was basically the building on the back side, between walls, smell of decay and mold was quite a blossom to feel and smell, a lot of particles of dust and dirty small clouds on the floor were hidden in every corner and on the sides of the bed. The sink at the bathroom was improvised, sitting at a 180 degree angle, just standing with the force of gravity and some greasemonkey screwed power, but if you turned it in front of you, at a 90 degree as it normal should stay, it would pop out of the socket and water will pour out all over you! Bits of chewed gum was on the walls as you can see in the pictures, radiator was in a bad condition, oxidised and rusty, furniture was like in the mid 90’s, air conditioner was back from a century ago, only on and off options and the air conditioner radiator was so close and so loud to the window we could hear it all night long! All doors were made of cheap wood, empty walls, leaving nothing but all shoutings, dropped objects, people talking and kids crying banging and ringing through your ears out loud! Let’s talk about parking, were you are asked to pay 5 euros per day with no receipt, no possibility of card payment, bringing your car on a pile of dirt, rocks, building debris, garbage, planks and wood, plastic bags and other thrown garbage and people dont use, forced to park very closely to the hotel wall, all the way backed into a tree just for staff to get more money into their pockets from other “clients”. Staff was very annoyed about our persona, and one of the managers insulted me and was ready to take a fight on the street, threating me and shouting, eventually forcing me to leave the establishment by forced imposed canceled reservation of my stay, declaring at booking app that I never showed or stepped at the hotel leaving me with a wasted day, a very bad experience and money wasted on 2 nights! Yes, 2 nights and we only slept 1 night and left after the first morning! Really really bad experience, would not recommend this place to anyone even of the good location on the map!

Stayed 22nd September to 27 September 2022. Booked an Economy Room, which was terrible. Absolutely substandard accommodation. Strong smell of mold and damp. Holes in walls above bed. Hole in bathroom wall stuffed with plastic bag. Floor near balcony door was spongy and you could hear and feel water under laminate flooring. Main shower had no water and was told to use water from foot shower. The toilet flooded floor everytime we flushed the toilet. We asked for a new room but was told we would have to wait until the next day. The following morning and after being shouted at by hotel manager, we were eventually moved to the room next door, which was a little better but when you used the sink in bathroom the drawer beneath and floor flooded as pipes were not connected to the wall. We fixed this ourselves. View from both balconies were awful (see photos attached) Overall a very bad experience and only stayed as the hotel refused to refund our money. They did tell us to pack our bags and leave, which we refused to do, as we had paid for our 5 night stay in full. We love Istanbul but would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. We have written to the Minister of Tourism for Turkey and to the Hotel Association with our complaint along with photographs and videos of both rooms. A terrible experience and possibly the worst hotel in Istanbul. The photos of the rooms, hotel and roof top breakfast do not reflect the reality of the place. Breakfast is very poor as is the coffee etc. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Location of the hotel is superb. Just in front.of.sea and beginning of the main street but the hotel.is really old. Cleanliness is a big concern. We stayed for 6nights and our room was not.cleaned.for 3 days despite informing them. Beds are comfortable but rooms are dirty, walls are filthy, washrooms are small and not up to.standard. the washroom itself was noisy. You cannot sleep early because the street noise is too much and morning you can't sleep till.late as room gets brighten due to sun light and noise of cars and buses makes it.worst. it is an extremely noisy street. it has a good price, so it is up to the customer what to choose. The restaurant on the roof has an amazing view but super expensive. The breakfast was standard. Mr. Khan, the hotel partner is very cooperative and help.you in any way he can.

I stayed here September 29th to October 5th by myself after traveling to Istanbul for plastic surgery. I decided to check out of the Mercure on the Asian side day before surgery and checked into this hotel on the European side after leaving the hospital in hopes of would be nicer and give me better places to walk to inorder to help healing. I was hugely disappointed when I needed ice and the attendant told me they had no ice or freezers!! I had rhinoplasty so this was very detremental to my healing. I was ready to check out for this. Then the attendant who worked there longer and cared more for his job told me they did have a freezer so I was able to freeze my ice packs and he got me a mini bar(fridge with freezer) so that I could keep them in there and take out at my own leisure. The room I read given had 3 beds, 1 queen and 2 twin beds a bathroom and small wardrobe. The door didn't have a very good lock, no deadbolt just the kind you press in so I felt very uncomfortable when leaving out for the day. The decor was very dated and old but for the price the room was I didn't expect luxury. It was definitely Ina good location. Central to the fairies trams, and metro. All in all I felt safe being alone in another country. I also didn't have any cellular service the card I bought my phone wouldn't accept it because my phone was locked to Metro PCS so if I ever travel to another country I'll definitely bring an...
